Local footy coaches reveal impact of cancelled season amid...
If you know more about the transmission than the Fed CMO and the Vic CHO then I'm sure they will be glad to hear your advice.
The present guidelines (which may change) is that community outdoor sport is safe for kids and that they are unlikely conduits for transmission. They have been saying...
I don't disagree with your thought process but we need to keep it in perspective. That is 13 schools out of 2500 in the state or 0.52% of all schools.
As far as opposition teams not being able to play etc, then that is up to the Dept of Health to decide. The general rule is 15 minutes of face...
Can we leave that with the health officials to decide and not Club Presidents, most of whom have no medical experience whatsoever.
The current advice is that its safe and that the risk of transmission is very low. Why are people wanting to go against that medical advice?
Schools are still safe. That has been the consistent advice from all the leading medical authorities, both at a federal and at a state level.
Why do people think they know more about this stuff then them?

The reality is all of us are going to have to live with highs and lows in terms of virus numbers for the next few years. Ideally we need to take a medium/long view with this.
Decisions need to be made based on what the government authorities recommend. Again why panic and cancel the junior season based on an existing hotspot that may have moved or have disappeared all together in two weeks time?
And if everything gets cancelled then are we meant to spend the next...
Only for the moment. In 2 weeks time it might be completely gone from that area or a new hotspot could have started up somewhere else.
Everyone needs to stop making decisions based on the current situation and make decisions based on what the situation is likely to be in one month, two months...
Come along to a clubs junior training session. Close to a 100% turnout where I am and thats the same at all the others that I have heard from.
There may be the odd parent who is having an anxiety attack but just like with school they have the option of not letting little Johnny play and of...
Those rules are not intended to be there for the rest of the year.
They get reviewed every 2-3 weeks.
The clubs have already received memo that players are to arrive changed and ready. Not that difficult to organise.
To be honest the change-rooms are the least of most clubs problems.
