    Because they know the 20 yr old kids movie will rate better - much better - than the AFL. It's not called "commercial" television for nothing... I never cease to be amazed by the number of people from Melbourne who actually think AFL is considered a major sport in Sydney or Brisbane...

    I admire the optimism in the original post, but I fear it's a little misplaced. Gold Coast and Western Sydney are going to struggle for support - particularly W Sydney when you consider that SBS again outrated the Swans on Saturday night...
