Ah Rooster then why did you not know about the new Board at the MSJFL. Articulate yes informed not. But why does that not surprise anyone.... Oh btw I am not a fan of either the SFL or VAFA I remain firm in the stance that there will be a combined Junior and senior comp in the southern region...

Rooster you need to get up with the times and are up to speed with the progress that has happened since February...btw AFL Victoria have to sanction any club going from one league to another and do you thnk they would allow that if they have as there agenda to have a strong junior/senior league...

SFL – MSJFL proposed merger. Has the VAFA been stiffed?

Too late bombs whilst your club was the only club to oppose the rules during the week the other clubs voted in favour which means that clubs have only a say in the appointment of the board not any other decisions. Muzza you should know that what the AFL want they get and the SFL is apart of that...

SFL – MSJFL proposed merger. Has the VAFA been stiffed?

Rooster you miss the point, the current MSJFL Board do not need a club vote anymore to make decisions, even big decisions, and I am not saying that a takeover is on anyones agenda but think about it logically and take your VAFA blinkers ofF, a junior/senior comp in the south is logical seeing...

SFL – MSJFL proposed merger. Has the VAFA been stiffed?

The only problem that exists with the whole situation is that the AFL according to new the men have gone on record to MSJFL Exec saying they want alignments and hubs and that should be happening sooner than later... Sandringham Dragons, St Kilda Reserves, Junior and senior community footy under...

    SFL Division One - 2011

Back to back is the most valued person at City, without him no success would have been possible even with the money man...any club with a bloke like him would be very very LUCKY. Have a look at al those young blokes like Belkin for example they are as a result of him organising the Colts with...

    C Section C Season 2011

Good luck for the rest of the season lads, thank goodness Ormond are continuing to play the young blokes and stopped playing fat blokes like Beckett. Bomber Bedford would not have enough lollies at quarter time to go around and I hear the pie order for the Monders canteen is about 10 short on...

    2010 Colts Competition

Thanks Face, yes the VAFA under 19 is a riping comp but obvioulsy the under 18's is not working that well but at least it gives the kids out north and west a game of footy. Yes umpires are a prob numbers wise across all comps.Ta

    2010 Colts Competition

Super and Rooster you are both on the money looking at the Southern Footy website it appears that 12 teams will compete which is almost half of the clubs represented in the SFL which is excellent considering the VAFA have only 8 in the VAFA under 18 comp in its second or third year which would...

Sour grapes benny, pity the poor clubs that have been asked to fork out money to have their game covered. Value for money our club does not think so nor do many many others.

Southern Football League - Division 3 talk only! Part 2

Simon, I have just found out from our President that in fact both Cerebus and Dragons are getting 2 points each not 4 as Cerebus cannot play that week end at all due to Anzac day and there is not another opportunity to play the game. 2 points each sounds reasonable neither will trouble the...
