I agree with you, Shooter. A similar example is David's behaviour while watching the film you're talking about - Lawrence of Arabia. Here David is acting more like a like a teenage fanboy trying to imitate his favourite celebrity's hair style and mannerisms than an advanced robot. It's as if...
Interesting but I find it hard to agree with you, although I'm not sure how you're defining David's character in the first place. I think his character develops and changes over the course of Prometheus. Sorry for the lateness of my post - I didn't know there was a Prometheus discussion on here...
Do you seriously think teams are selected by TOGgling the players' stats as per your silly example? There are often a myriad of reasons why one borderline player gets selected over another borderline player. One player might play his role according to the coaches wishes, he might run harder or...
I think it's another Folau-type religious issue. SOS sees himself as a Carlton God and as such He can do anything He wants and is unsackable - at least until all three of His sons are recruited by the club (along with their best friends).
I was hoping we'd pick Jong up a few years ago - same year as Collingwood made a play or him. Very solid player. Someone also mentioned Dunstan from Saints - big yes to him as well.
I'm quite happy with that - he's well suited to playing against GWS' talls. He will lack match fitness but as I said earlier our selectors don't appear to be overly concerned about that. Hope he gets a good run at playing Ones.
So what about Cas? Not sure we need both he and Macreadie? Team...
Yes, I agree. I'd like to see Macreadie get a run in the Ones at some stage but it would be a big ask for him to step in against GWS after so long out. Still not much of a match up for Cas down back...the GWS talls like to get on their bikes.
Cas on the emergency bench if Macreadie comes in. Macreadie would be a better fit as he is reasonably good on smaller players as well as talls - and GWS' talls are all fairly mobile. But there'd have to be a question mark over Mac's match fitness (not that lack of match fitness has ever worried...
