Apparently Sam Conroy broke his leg and did his good knee on Saturday in his comeback in the ressies. Rhys Bridge seemed to have hurt his shoulder or collarbone as well. Couple of big losses and makes Port's run to the flag even easier.- Word Count: 45

Spot on Rexel. Maybe Souths have finally realized that trying to recruit a flag isn't working and trying to blood some of their kids is the way to go. Might make them a few years off a flag but better in the long run. Saints are going down the same path and surely this is only good for the FNQ...- Word Count: 86

Port is so far out in front its not funny. It's just a matter of who they will smash in the GF Souths or CTB. And your right Saints,Norths and Lions are ordinary but Saints have improved of late so dont count them out just yet.- Word Count: 48

Who's the third successful team. Surely Port and Saints would be the first 2. Hawks are the only other team in the last 10yrs to win a flag so it cant be CTB or Souths.- Word Count: 36

Season is over imo. Port wont lose all season unless they rest half their side. Its only a matter of who plays them. Souths CTB or even Hawks a chance. Saints had 14 out on Sat night i heard and quite a few long term so you can probably count them out. Good to see 6 or 7 colts getting a game...- Word Count: 70

You wernt far off. Looks like a very one sided season unfortunately with the only real contests when the top 2 and bottom 2 play each other and CTB,Saints and Hawks. Most other games will be 100+ margins which is sad to see- Word Count: 44

If you are paying that much then you need to be winning flags. Finishing 3rd or 4th isnt good enough. You might as well play your kids or your players you have givèn service to the club over the years if thats the case.- Word Count: 45

Saints had a few missing but no out and out stars. As long as they beat the teams below them they should have no worries making the 4, but i wouldn't be surprised if they slipped up at least once along the way. Most years Lions are more than competitive for the first half of the season than drop off drastically after that. When things get tough with injuries or whatever they really struggle.
