I'd love to read through the last 60 years of statements and evidence. It should all be digitalised and collated. Just imagine how many boxes of evidence there is. I bet most of it has never been revisited -

I was told that SAPOL still have on average, four reports a week on the Beaumont Children. -

Agree it is tricky. There is at least one piece of information that SAPOL haven't divulged [apparently they falsely released certain information, of a witness description] The true description may help someone identify the abductor. -

That IMO is where the problem lies. Police control the release of information on any case, current or cold. I am sure more cold cases would be solved, if more facts were released. This could either prompt a persons memory, or excuse a potential person -

In regards to SAPOL, I was told first hand that there is a whole department of the police officers that work solely on SA cold cases. Given the number of cold cases in SA, they may be stretched. I do not believe they employ third parties -
