I'll wait and see how they go tonight against Adelaide before getting too worried about our game.
At least we don't have to play them on their ridiculous postage-stamp sized ground though.
Nothing wrong with setting the narrative early, we like him and we want to keep him. Let's see what he can do in the next few months and maybe the story is we have to up the offer because we rate him higher and we look after our boys that show loyalty and commitment to the club.
And full credit to him, he didn't go into his shell and hide, he got some help on his goal kicking and just keeps getting better.
Now he's got a great anticipation around the ground, a natural footballer's instinct. As watchable as Cyril, but with a more solid core of strength for the modern game.
"As a dog returns to its vomit, so fools repeat their folly"
- Proverbs 26:11
I would suggest there's some similar sentiment going on elsewhere right now.
They can't keep all their toys, they will have to let a few go. The AFL want GC to be successful and they are on the right track now, they have to start the focus on Tassie from now on.
Unfortunately CJ is an athlete that struggled to get into the mindset of playing football. I'd actually compare him to Ryan Burton, looks a million bucks but just doesn't seem to know what to do without an onfield coach telling him what to do.
That sideways run too far is headless chook level...
