    Australian soccer launches national league

The A-league has got something right. They are playing the majority of their season after footy season finishes. I would never forsake footy for soccer. Footy and Collingwood will always be my first love, BUT I will buy a Victory membership and go to Victory matches after the grand final is...

Is the AFL scared of the new A-League?

my passion will always be Aussie rules and Collingwood. BUT I enjoy watching soccer, and will get a membership to Melbourne Victory, and will go to matches. What better way to pass the time over summer till footy starts again. Go Victory!!

    Franks the Man

Go Frank I remember you laughing your guts out at the pies losing last year, then saying it was great that Brisbane got a "retention allowance" as it was good for football. You would have won tonight if the playing field had have been fair. I'm laughing now Frank.

Why Most Victorians would be happy to see an all Non Vic GF

I suffered through 79/80 and 81 and , to this day I still cop it from Carlton and Richmond supporters. After 2002 & 2003 I have not met, heard from or talked to a Brisbane supporter. I know which I prefere. Go 'the chokers' and 'the cheaters'.

    Greatest team of all time

Between 1925 and 1939, a fifteen year period, Collingwood played in 11 Grand Finals and won 6. That'll take alot of beating!!

Grayham, you're a gem. For a person who hates whinging you sure whinge alot. Unfortunately Deej is correct. People just aren't interested in talking footy like they used to be. It is no longer seen as a even comp. Everyone still loves there team but the AFL is seen as bias, favouring...

Brisbane player asks for $3500 to appear at AFLQ function

Brisbane bleat about players leaving to play in there home states. Surely a way to beat this would be to encourage a local football culture and produce more local players. They seem little interested in the future developement in Qld.

N.Brown (Richmond variety, I luv the other one) = weak!

Richmond have a rich history of dobbing. Remember Captain Sooky (Campbell) squeeling like a stuck pig during the Knights/Liberatore incident.

    The Golden Tea Set.....a story

This story starts in sunny Ballarat, way back in the gold rush days. The residents of this lovely city were captivated by a group of young men who regularly tried to outdo each other at the 100-yard sprint. Trainers and supporters rallied to various sprinters and the sport grew and grew. In...
