Analysis Ricks Analysis (The Shinboner Blog)

100 percent. This whole experience line is a worthy discussion point, but if they aren't any good or offer leadership, they are virtually worthless. Yes we will break down at times due to a lack of experience, but at the moment we break down all the time regardless of experience. Just coach...

    List management 101 (69?)

It is game plan and lack of athletic profile. All teams have 1-2 players with speed inside 50 providing defensive pressure, we have 0. Most sides have a couple of solid players and a star or two that run through then middle to provide defensive pressure, we have only 1 (Wardlaw). Most sides have...

He had. decent run last year.

Powell has been our 2nd best midfielder this year. And not even the rest Will Philips made any difference to the defensive midfield setup on the weekend. Only Wardlaw has been able to do that.

You could say the same about Majak but after gaining confidence in defence, he kicked 9 goals in 10 quarters. He will end up forward and do well if he keeps applying himself.

Unless the coaches said not to lead, this is absolute crap. Play your natural game and try and make a difference. Being new gives him the unique advantage of not learning the bad habits everyone else has. He has been terrible.

It doesn't have to though. We have a few pieces. What we need to do is develop a team that can compete and pressure while we get the talented players into the 50-100 game bracket. Give me 3-4 defensive speedsters, they don't even have to be particularly skilled, and that will at least allow us...

No interest in Larkey, he is just not a great role model on the ground. Biggest whinger we have. Sent from my iPhone using BigFooty.com

I think Archer is tied with Will for the most overrated player on this board but he is actually a defender and we need one. Fisher to get out of there. Would love Hardeman or George but only if they are physically ready. No player is mentally ready for playing in a North team. Biggie out is a...

How can you say that with a straight face. Only Zurhaar had any noticeable influence in there in a small way.

Most accurate comment. It is like Zac Snyder, he does one cool shot and he is the GOAT despite the other 2 hours being pox. He was ok, played like I thought. He has good hands and if the ball is in his vicinity he is good at getting to it and releasing a ball when players are ahead of him...

It is negligence, pure and simple. I and others have been banging on about the need for power and speed in this team to get some 2nd level impact. But other than George, we have LDU (Power but not speed), Jy, Powell and Philips who have zero impact once the ball moves outside. Then we have zero...

Happy to save the club money and be the sole coach and recruiter, certainly would't do worse and most likely better. Need a fitness guy though is you want to put your hand up.
