    The Lions mids are good runners but don't have that absolute high end speed. I feel we match up ok and the likes of Powell and Jy would be ok in there.

    Would love a breakdown of how this stat works. Also where do you get it? I am finding a lot of the newer metrics are significantly flawed and are more suited to a sport like baseball. This is how I would rank each possession based on traffic lights. I should do this for a few others as well...

    Agree on the premise with Hardeman. The gap in skill from AFL to VFL can really affect how well players can perform, particularly outside the centre square.

    Drafted athletic players with size that are threats forward and mid. Plus you still have the likes of Kosi and Gawn. Have a lot of run.

    I recommend watching his highlights on the AFL app. For instance, he gets a clanger for the kick to Zurhaar in the pocket, which was a kick the team made 30 times during the game. He was actually cleaner than in previous games when given time.

    After watching the replay, he was bordering on good. he seemed to be intent on getting moving and he was important in multiple scores. Not sure where he plays long term but until we can find someone who can be adaptable as he can, he stays.

    I watched the replay and have no issue with any of his disposals outside the smothered kick (which he managed to get back) and obviously shots on goal. If you have issues with any of the others then I expect you to have a go at the entire team because they all did the same multiple times.

    I just finished the replay. He was much better than I thought he was and will definitely not be getting dropped. Out for injury, maybe. Should have kicked the two goals at his level (as some other should have), but was involved in a lot of key plays. Same with Banch, he was a lot more...

    I thought Jy was on the verge of getting dropped but this is exactly the point. If a player can rebaseline themselves, it can make a big difference.

    Dova been good at stat paddling late in games so don't really care about that. The eye tells me Banch was around it more.
