    I grew up always believing we did have a big rivallry, but our household was split 50/50 Cats/Pies, so it may have just been us. Everyone hated Collingwood back then. It wasn't until 1989 I truly started to despise Hawthorn and that hatred overtook my dislike of Collingwood.

    Yep, Fox it was. I already had the computer set up to broadcast the radio call and was going to use IQ to sync the picture to the call, and found that the fox team was actually quite good.

    Really appreciated hearing Eddie and co. Call the Cats/Swans game yesterday. The difference in quality of the call was light years ahead of BT/Richo and crew.

    He wasn't talking fines, he said we should forfeit. I'm glad you posted this here and not in the fourth estate. I thought I was overreacting when I was shouting at the screen "CALL THE DAMN GAME!!!". I'm so over the garbage that is served to us week in/week out. Bring back the game callers...

    I remember a time where the commentators would actually call the game, and if nothing was happening, we got to hear ....*gasp*....dead air!! My dear old Mum said "If you've got nothing to say, say nothing at all". Shame this lot didn't hear the same when they were growing up.

    A lot of good to be taken from that. With Hawkins, Kelly, Corey and Chapman in the side that wouldn't have been such a thriller. I'm not too disappointed, 5 points is anyones game come finals.
