    Yes we look a lot more mobile with this lineup. More dangerous up forward and more run from the back. We do miss barrass and his ability to mark or kill the high ball. But I don’t think there is room for scrimshaw or any of the young talls in our best team.

    Grinding down the oppo ruck has paid off in a few games. The trouble comes when we lack the runners because the rest of the side is too heavy eg ramsden/gunston, tb, dear as well. We will lose the grind factor with chol as he’s a burst guy not a stamina guy

    You could look at this as arse protection so if they do decide to do the trade the blame from irate supporters will rest with the board, not the football department. Could be a smart move, given the likely heat. But board far more likely to take a non football-based decision.

    Best not to underestimate the mental health challenges faced by many in the general population, let alone the high pressure AFL environment. I reckon it’s better to err on the side of compassion even if a few seem to be taking the piss - we never really know what’s going on.
