Score review process was an utter joke tonight.

don't lump me in with so called "soccer fan logic". give the arse to the whole thing. i can't reiterate enough that officiating error makes drama and subsequently, interest. as supporters you take the good with the bad. deal

    The Haka

yeh! how bloody great is goodes and jetta's version?! there was legitimate fear the nation over!

Eagles/Dogs game: most critical of the last few weeks

Cheeky Dogs - Picken and Boyd out - I don't think they fear anyone heading into the finals so why not give a few stars a rest before making a legitimate run at it from 5th. Should they finish 5th then they should only have to leave Melbourne (East Coast at worst) if they make it as far as a...

    Jed adcock sacked

the lions of late seem to have an incredible penchant for thinking they are making the tough, but correct decision and proceeding to do it all the wrong way.

Strangest place you have seen someone wearing an AFL jumper

    That's almost exactly what I did x 4

Strangest place you have seen someone wearing an AFL jumper

the other day i saw a japanese fella in a japanese ex-pat izakaya in chiang mai, thailand wearing a carlton polo. didnt have it in me to tell him how much of an embarrassment he was to himself. i once ran over to two guys in cambridge, UK who were kicking a sherrin in a park and asked for the...

Score review process was an utter joke tonight.

Oh yes, I'm sure they'll be very concerned and care HEAPS. But on a serious note, the review process in all sports (aside from tennis) is a legitimate farce. The fallibility of officials makes sports interesting and adds to the mythology of great moments: Harmes 1979, Maradona 1986, Hurst 1966...

Teams The ones that didn't get away

thank you for pointing out this fault. nit picking is such an invaluable human commodity so cheers for saying EXACTLY what i said (occasional 100). i dont know why this agitated me so much. maybe should've had one less beer before turning on my computer :mad::thumbsu:

If you have Goldstein, is he a lock for the C in R20?

despite your bias, ill join you!

Teams The ones that didn't get away

Very sad to see Grigg go to make way for Rockliff. Was a great servant to my team this year! Lee Spurr's ocasional 100+ fixtures have been invaluable (especially lately) for a player in less than 1% of teams. Prone to the occasional 40-60 score though!

    R20

Pity Lecras copped a week so I couldn't make for a serious upgrade. Finished 6th in my league and this week bares some significance. Jed Bews ---> Matthew Dick (meh, at least he's playing and hopefully can top his BE of 21) Mark Lecras ---> Chad Wingard (smoking them down in Adelaide at the...

If you have Goldstein, is he a lock for the C in R20?

Taking on Longer and a Saints team with little to play for but pride... North on a bit of a surge. Is this gonna be another of those weeks where Goldstein just monsters it again?

Round 18 trades. Garry Ablett to ??

Gaz to Selwood worked out pretty nifty for me.
