    Statistically to not win a final in 20 years is roughly 0.00019816981 (or 1 in 5,046). (10/16)^6 x 11/17 x (12/18)^13 This does not account for the double final chance.

    It's a fair point, and that's the balance we need to figure out. Because at the moment LDU is getting 30+ but can't hit a target i50, just for comparison.

    This guy needs to play in the forward half of the ground. His delivery i50 is so underrated it's not even funny, and its exactly what we need. We don't need him getting 30+ possies in the backline.

    Surprised no ones mentioned Phillips, thought he was disappointing, his kicking really lets him down, I hope he makes it but jesus he’s not doing himself any favours. Sure he could tag, but means we’re essentially playing with 2 mids in the centre instead of 3, and we already have too many mids.

    That’s very basic analysis. Look at the turnovers, look at the missed opportunities going i50, look at how many players we have that are essentially positionless.

    But he has attributes that do contribute to us winning matches. Look I’d love to have 23 sheezels, but let’s be real, not everyone is going to be elite kicks. Does he fluff the ball? No. Does he cover the ground well? Yes. Do we need guys that can do that? Yes. Was he our worst today? No way.

    Depends how far we cut, but considering our fwd line is the weakest part of our game, I wouldn’t be too quick to cut Hansen Jnr. Need to see more of him. But yes guys that don’t have a position, you know who you are, cut them first.

    Stephens is worth pursuing with, he’s got good speed and stamina. Suited to the wing. But yes Shiels and Sleevo…positionless.

    Yep no issues with it, we literally ran into goal a couple times, fluffed it, then they went down the other end and kicked a goal. That’s not coaching, that’s execution.
