    Multiplat AFL 26 - Releasing May 8th

Ross has just gone the way of his beloved Carlton. Mediocre and only caring about $$$. Releasing the games and seeing what he can get away with, and fixing only when in panic mode. But I tried AFL26 for the first time in months and it plays fairly decent, like the bare minimum it should've been...

    Multiplat AFL 26 - Releasing May 8th

Overall it's pretty fun. Some bugs to fix: AI standing still with ball a lot, not kicking it Kicking a point sometimes teleports to a boundary throw on the wing Coin toss animation frozen sometimes online, players just swaying side it side. Does anyone know how to call for a shepherd?

I don't see how people can defend this shit.

    Multiplat AFL 26 - Releasing May 8th

It's fun for a few games. Needs work. A mess on release again, not sure how Big Ant gets away with what they do. But it's all we have. Why is Ross claiming it's selling out everywhere? Where are the new goal celebrations, mid air kicks, goal umpire animations and everything else in the trailer...

Look in the gameplay videos how the goal umpire does not move, and even is facing toward the crowd, and standing still. However in the trailer the umpire is shuffling around and squatting.. Big Ant loves false advertising.

Yep, let us run around with the player and choose a celebration.. Also, I still think the next evolution of an AFL game will be when we get full control over a player taking a set shot, walking/running in with the left stick and kicking it, using the right stick (similar like in golf). Then you...

Mate, they can't even implement gang tackling in their Rugby games. Go and have a look it's all 1v1 stuff the same as this. Where is the new goal celebrations like the shhh in the trailer?

Looks crap. Honestly Big Ant just make your visuals and player/stadium models (all you're really good at) and get someone like Wicked Witch to code the game.

Hmm is the gameplay gonna be any good? That is the big question! Maybe they have kept more quiet this time so they can let the game do the talking, one can hope. Better player movement and ball physics would go a long way! Twistie said that it might have ragdoll collisions like in Fifa. That...

Multiplat AFL 23 - Part 2 with added Pro Team

Everything Big Ant does just screams of rushing products for certain dates in order to cash in... why not just release a product when it's good to go? Then the sales will take care of themselves..

Just noticed Big Ant used PhyreEngine for AFL Live 2011, maybe explains some things too. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PhyreEngine Then again, the IR Gurus games used their own engine by the looks of it.

I'm trying to learn UE 5. I want to make an arcade AFL Jam style game, been in my head for years. Anyone else have experience or keen to help?
