Discussion Rd 19 : Hawthorn v St Kilda

shittt worst week possible for resting/injuries for me personally. I have a potentially very embarrassing bet I will have to go through with if we lose. :(

NSW State of Origin Team 2009

That NSW guy coming over the top was uncalled for, wish he hadn't been sent off so they could have gone after him.

Outrageous! Simon Gerrans dropped from Tour de France!

disappointing, he showed a fair bit in the spring classics, would have had a good shot at another stage

    TDF Stage 1, Monaco (15.5km ITT) 4/7/09

I'd definitely take Cancellara over wiggins with the incline for half of it though, Wiggins has had most of his success on the track

    2009 Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré

I pretty much agree with you except on the bit with Evans taking risks. I remember an interview with Jens voigt last year where he talked about how he, even as a non-recognised climber, can put in one or two days where he over exerts himself and pushes himself to the limit. Cadel would of course...

... Yes that was a good typing effort by me. Art vs Science are good live, they sounded awesome at Groovin' the Moo. Crystal Castles should be sweet has anyone heard anything about what they are like live?

    2009 Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré

I think Evans is unpopular yes, but that wouldn't stop him winning a GT if he was able to. Riders shouldn't have to rely on a strong team to win, ultimately it is a responsibility they have to take upon themselves. The winner of the TDF almost always makes a decisive move eg. Sastre up L'Alpe...

    2009 Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré

Shane.Bond is right, He was promised a much better team and it was actually looking good for a while when Silence had Kohl and Popovych as well as Dekker. Dekker will be better then anyone he had last year though and hopefully a Lloyd or one of the young Belgian guys will be able to help him...
