    I’ve seen this age group from the U11s. Liam Grybas and Mason Evans are underage. Tell you what though, and not to be too harsh, there’s a fair few kids in this squad that should consider themselves lucky - 4 of which are privately coached by one of Eastern’s coaches.

    If you’re talking about Rowville, my understanding is that two of the 17s teams will be made up of 17-year-olds and the third team 16-year olds. The 15A Brown team from this year are going up to the 17s for more competition. I understand the Blackburn 15A Black team are doing the same thing...

    I went to a game between Vermont and Balwyn in 2012 or 2013. I’ve always remembered a comment I overheard from a Vermont supporter. He was complaining about Balwyn and then said “Balwyn just buy their premierships”. Almost had tears in my eyes from laughter 😅
