Just had a look. The Australian Rugby League, NRL, Cricket Australia, NFL, Major League Baseball, English Premier League all give out sanctions/have them set in place against players who using drugs on top of police charges.
Performance enhancing or not, many sporting organisations around the world have decided that they don't want their players being labelled as 'druggies'. Imagine the public outrage if Cousins, Johnson or Stokes had been let off the hook and the AFL replied by saying 'let him party'. This is...
The AFL's drug code is an outrage and a disgrace. This allows players to take drugs, go unnoticed for as long as it takes to get tested twice, then consider avoiding punishment. Although this generous rule applies to some, players like Matthew Stokes, Ben Cousins and Michael Johnson were caught...
Yeh. Agree with most players. Very good point 'The Rusler'. Danyle Pearce probably does deserve a spot, also definitely agree with the people that said Grundy. Maybe wouldn't have Gilbert in there.
Hawkins will be much better over his career than Milne. He is slowly getting all the skills required to be a very special player for Geelong. His injury seemed to be a factor in letting West Coast almost snatch a win from us.
Re: Round 11 Trades
Also if u havn't found out the hard way yet, wait for the teams to come out 5pm Thursday or on 'The Footy Show' before you make trades.
Re: Round 11 Trades
Wow bit of a pickle. I think Lecras is good value and Selwood is still very good. I wouldn't look to trade either of them. I would be doing something like Trengove to O'Keefe or someone else who has peaked. Ablett plays St. Kilda soon and could be tagged by clint jones...
Thanks. Yeh you're probably right on that last point. The 'holding the ball' decision is pretty weird, but i think the 'advantage' rule could be improved also. There is a very fine line between advantage and no advantage. Can't be kept consistent enough.
