DP 28 alone isn't enough for Brad Ebert, so WCE could seek a pick upgrade to balance it out a bit. Brad Ebert and DP 45 for Port's DP's 28 and 33? or Brad Ebert and DP 63 for Port's DP's 28 and 51?

The logic of Glass on Hawkins, and Mackenzie on Podsiadly was lost on me. Surely, Glass (192cm/94kg/30yo) on Pods (193cm/102kg/30yo) and Mackenzie (196cm/99kg/23yo) on Hawkins (197cm/101kg/23yo) was the better match-up.

Cheers FS. I swapped out Jeffery's stats for Findlay's. Jeffery umpired in two of our losses (Hawks and Swans), while Findlay umpired our thrashing of the Bulldogs. :D

If anyone's interested, here is today's umpires' stats for WCE and Collingwood games this year: WCE Games: McBurney (3) - umpired Rounds 8 (Freo at home), 21 (away to Melbourne) and 23 (away to Brisbane). WCE averaged 21.7 FF and 18.0 FA, and the average result was WCE by 29.7 points. WCE won...

Considering Dalziell wanted to be traded back to his home state of WA, I would have thought he'd try to get a gig at Freo before he'd look to pack his bags again for the east coast.

If Ebert put his hand up and said he wants to go to Port, from your perspective what would WCE accept from Port as fair compensation for Ebert, that Port would also be willing to give up? Bear in mind Port needs to rebuild, and there's no way they'll be giving up Pick 6.

Re: Sharrod Wellingham Gaff's considered best 22 in a top 4 team that's just starting to open the premiership window again. He'd be crazy to leave. And even if he did, any of the other Vic teams would put together a better offer than a rookie-drafted player, 30yo steak knife and Pick 26(ish).

Wouldn't it be great to watch a game between WCE '06 best 22 and WCE '11 best 22. Man on Man coverage vs zone coverage and the forward press. Scooter has proven he can shut down Juddy, but who takes on Cousins and the '06 Kerr? The Naitanui vs '06 Cox rucking duel would be awesome to watch...
