Autopsy 2026 Rd 9 Blues go down after scaring reigning premiers

I agree. Dropping him would be counter productive. At the same time he must improve his goal kicking or he ultimately will not be worth picking as a forward. He has time on his side for now and he has attributes to help him succeed as a third tall forward but his goal kicking must improve.

Hard to know what to make of that game. The second half was really encouraging but once again we did not play the game in full with an acceptable level of skill and commitment that we should expect to see. Brodie Kemp shows great signs but must start to nail simple shots at goal. Everything...

Autopsy 2026 Rd 7 Good effort but Blues go down in the West

Yep, this strategy, if you want to call it that, annoys the crap out of me. On stop plays when we have the ball the opposition are pressuring us. When they have it we fold back, allowing them plenty of options to retain the ball and move it down the ground unimpeded. I wish someone could explain...

Preview 2026 Rd 7 Carlton vs Fremantle Saturday 25th April 8:15PM AEST @ Optus Stadium

Madness. It's where we're ultimately losing the game at the minute. Lord is not a wing/half forward and is slow. He has one position and that's in the midfield. We need quick, dynamic players on the wing and at half forward or at least for this season, quicker than Cooper. He deserves a shot at...

That injury to Kouta really deflated our chances. Braddles and SOS got injured as well so it was not meant to be. Would have loved to have seen us have a crack at Essendon with those three in good nick. Reckon we would have really tested them.

Autopsy 2026 Rd 6 Collapse. Copy. Paste.

This current lineup and coaching set up is done. What we're putting out there is absolute rubbish. Time to decide which of the more senior players we want to persist with coupled with identifying the best of the young talent on our list and then go on an all out assault, recruiting the most...

Chin up Cheech. We live in hope. Just have to keep supporting to a level of enthusiasm that you can muster.

Yep, he is a good start and plays with intent, just needs to increase fitness and that will come in time. Another of his type would be good. We also need a few quick and skilled midfielders to add to the mix, another mature aged ruck with forward capabilities and a developing KPF and some...

Chesser needs to lift today. He's not alone though. Great day for footy, no excuses for not bringing our best.

It just doesn't seem to make sense.

What will help us defensively is if we stop folding back down the field letting the opposition advance the ball from a defensive kick in. We need to start pressuring a hell of a lot earlier rather than allowing them easy passage to their F50. I see it so many times and I don't understand the...

Agreed and Ollie H as well. He really needs to take a lot more care with his kicking. It kills us. Anyway, some good additions in Francis and Talor. I agree with others that we seem a bit too tall still and we're not changing our midfield set up, which suggests that we're still putting all our...

After our off season reset and what we have done in pre season you should be. Winning in Sydney is clearly a hard task but we're playing a good brand, cracking in and cobbling scores together without relying on the dominance of a few. My only criticism from last week's game was that we did not...
