    My ‘feel’ on Simpkin’s game… he is a selfish player and a butcher. He seems quite content on just hacking the ball forward, often using his left like it doesn’t matter. The only time he takes his kicking seriously is with set shots at goal. He’d rather side step, pirouette and hack the ball...

    He’s playing the gorilla role rather than the interceptor. Needs to play alongside a gorilla. Having said that he’s disposal isn’t good enough for an intercepting type defender. We really need Dawson and Threadgold to be our future here.
