    Leigh Brennan great pick up for Macedon. Won the last 2 reserve goal kicking awards in the Ballarat league. Tied with Goodson in 2024 despite playing 5 less games.

    Well done to Cooper Craig-Peters and Billy Crofts today in the VFL Grand Final. Craig-Peters got the Medal with Crofts not far behind after 2 clutch 4th quarter goals. Great representation of our league.

    I think the changing of demographic in melton as a suburb cannot be understated. A higher percentage of kids are from nationality’s who would typically play more Cricket, Basketball and Soccer compared to Ballarat and other country areas.

    After seeing the conditions of Eastern oval last week, and adding another 3 games of footy on it, no finals should be played on that ground. The bloods outplayed east yesterday in all phases of the game, wouldn’t have mattered where it was played.

    The Derby with Melton would be quite big too. Gissy and Melton 1 pointers have grown up playing in plenty of big finals against eachother and interleague games together. Also that connection short term with past player Rob Waters coaching. It would be a great move.

    Centrals without a doubt the biggest loser with south entering. Would be a pretty easy decision for any player choosing between the two I would think. The local derby also doesn't benefit centrals a great deal financially as they don't have a gate at Arnolds creek.

    Old mate from Darley on there is commenting that Melton were given the choice and chose Darley park which is Simply not true. A member of Melton committee denied that.

    Yep spot on, Stax missed my point. Considering Melton, Sunbury and Gizzy ran out with 20, 18 and 16, 1 point players respectively last week you would think alot of those blokes have crossed paths in junior footy.
