    Co-Captains. WHY?

If I recall Mitch's book correctly, he did want co-captaincy with Hodge back in '08 but Kennet knocked it down. The social media clips were very focused on Sic's welfare and sharing the load. I see this playing into Sam's broader view of bucking some of the trends of the past long sleeves...

    Unofficial Preview Round 1, 2023: Hawthorn v Essendon, MCG 3.20pm March 19th

Don't mind Nash as a sub option. Come in late, run hard and hit hard. Can also pinch hit in the ruck if a big man goes down early (not ideal).

Welcome Welcome to Hawthorn : Pick 7, Cam MacKenzie, extends to 2026!

Probably fairer to classify Hustwaite as a long bodied midfielder at this stage of his development ;)

Autopsy Hawthorn v Collingwood - Practice match - Thursday 2nd March, UTAS

Not a great defender or detractor of Worps. But it was a typical Worpel dump kick out of a contest that resulted in our first goal, floating to the top of the 50m arc and Kozzie bring the ball to ground.

Autopsy Round 9, 2022: Hawks chewed on by Tigers

Negatives: we lost still very poor at centre clearances massive score conceded Gunston ankle Worple Positives didn’t give up (but not good enough) Mitch Lewis Sicily, Scrimshaw, Newcombe Interesting Kozi could be a genuine ruck forward Wingard still has it as a mid if he can say fit Day...

Player Watch Thanks for your service, James Worpel, pick #43 2017 - Peter Crimmins medalist 2019 - joins Geelong Cats 2025

I get the disappointment in his performance. But certainly hyperbole to suggest there is no other explanation outside fattening him up as trade bait in round 9. He was dropped only a month back.

    Universal Love Will Langford

One of my favourite plays to watch under pressure. A coaches dream in the contests the way he will go in hard, bounce back to his feet and do it again. Just what we needed. A similar performance next week and he could be a sneaky one for the Norm Smith, paying weel at the moment

    Preview Preliminary final - Hawthorn v Port Adelaide, MCG, 20 September 2014 @ 4.45pm

Surely Suckling has to come in. Hope Rioli's fit, could start and get subbed out or vice versa. Either way his foot skills and speed will be greatly appreciated come Saturday

Opinion Reasons that we can/can't win

If we come up against the Swans in the Grannie; Reason we can: Last time Franklin played in a GF featuring the Swans, his team lost Reason we can't: Last time Franklin played in a GF featuring the Swans his team one

Will Langford - Have I been living under a rock?

Anyone know where he went to school? Really well spoken for a young fella in the post match interview, sounds like a smart kid
