Some of the melts on this board! They had their best 23, we had Gulden, Roberts and Rampe out. We lost Rosas and Paps during the game. Umpires were shocking. We looked off all night across our midfield. Lack intensity. Despite the above, lost by 27 points. No panic stations here. -

Compete over reaction on Juzzy on this board after this game. Had an average game for his standards. But outside of this, he has been an absolute a grader all season. It’s only 1 game. I’d argue he has been our most consistent midfielder alongside Heeney this year. -

Our run and gun game style is better suited to larger grounds. Think we’ll fair better at the MCG this year. Yes we lost to Hawks but we were missing Gulden and Heeney. Think we need a stronger plan B game style for the scg and GMHBA stadiums. -

Serong may be the money ball pick of the trade period. Completely different players and positions, but reminds me of J Kennedy who we picked up for a bag of chips because he was behind Hodge, Mitchell, Lewis etc. Serong has been behind Battle, Sicily, Barass.. all AA quality key defenders. Why is everyone so bothered about losing our 1st rounders. We haven’t acquired any special talents in recent years with them so may as well use them on someone who is! I reckon we have added players in all the right areas. Sad to see Hayward go in particular. Underrated in my opinion. Go well. -
