Autopsy 27 point loss to Geelong

Some of the melts on this board! They had their best 23, we had Gulden, Roberts and Rampe out. We lost Rosas and Paps during the game. Umpires were shocking. We looked off all night across our midfield. Lack intensity. Despite the above, lost by 27 points. No panic stations here.

Autopsy 27 point loss to Geelong

Compete over reaction on Juzzy on this board after this game. Had an average game for his standards. But outside of this, he has been an absolute a grader all season. It’s only 1 game. I’d argue he has been our most consistent midfielder alongside Heeney this year.

Our run and gun game style is better suited to larger grounds. Think we’ll fair better at the MCG this year. Yes we lost to Hawks but we were missing Gulden and Heeney. Think we need a stronger plan B game style for the scg and GMHBA stadiums.

Autopsy 27 point loss to Geelong

My take Not a bad loss - few injuries, poor umpiring, Geelong had their best 23 available, always tough at GMHBA Only concern - the midfield today. Heeney, Warner, Sheldrick, Jordan, Mcinerney all down. Positives - key defenders and key forwards all played well. Amartey, Curnow, Logan, Edwards...

Autopsy 6 point win vs Collingwood

Heard Mills being interviewed and he did verify that the Pies clogged the corridor and virtually left the flanks, wings open.. and we struggled to adjust. Explains a few things. I guess in the wet conditions and on the smaller ground it was much easier to clog the corridor. Glad we were forced...

Autopsy 6 point win vs Collingwood

I have a slightly different take on last night. I don’t think the Pies necessarily took away our game. To me, it felt like we deliberately played a different style. This was probably the first game this year where we weren’t constantly attacking with hands, taking the game on and playing...

    List Mgmt. 2025 Draft & Trade Thread - Picks 31, 32, 42, 60 and 71

Serong may be the money ball pick of the trade period. Completely different players and positions, but reminds me of J Kennedy who we picked up for a bag of chips because he was behind Hodge, Mitchell, Lewis etc. Serong has been behind Battle, Sicily, Barass.. all AA quality key defenders. Hawks...

    List Mgmt. 2025 Draft & Trade Thread - Picks 31, 32, 42, 60 and 71

Why is everyone so bothered about losing our 1st rounders. We haven’t acquired any special talents in recent years with them so may as well use them on someone who is! I reckon we have added players in all the right areas. Sad to see Hayward go in particular. Underrated in my opinion. Go well.

    List Mgmt. 2025 Draft & Trade Thread - Picks 31, 32, 42, 60 and 71

CC would be great in red and white. I'd love to see Logan Mc, Amartey and CC in the same forward line. My concern is what is the plan with the forward lines small, mediium size types, if the intention is for us to utilise Heeney 70% in the forward line, with Mills spending more time back in the...

    List Mgmt. 2025 Draft & Trade Thread - Picks 31, 32, 42, 60 and 71

Buller is worth haggling over to get a lower pick. yes he wouldn't have been given the opportunity without injuries this year. however in the game he has played he has been more than respectable. KPF's are expensive commodities in the AFL and at the age of 22 has the best ahead of him, should...

What are you anticipating is the deal? Are we thinking that Rowy and Hayward are involved?

Yeah Daniher barely got on the park the last 2 years at the bombers. But came miraculously good at the lions

I hear you - I felt nervous but hopeful that it would happen. We just cant take on the risk. I read on the bulldogs forum that him and his mates have been banned from many nighclubs for having weapons, not Jamarra but his mates. Sounds like he is hanging with some serious thugs. I'd be surprised...

Autopsy 2 pt win vs Brisbane - R22

100%. Always looking to hand off to a player if he is out of position shooting for goal. Competes hard and to me is a footballer.. he know when to lead up and where to run.

Autopsy 2 pt win vs Brisbane - R22

This is the weirdest back handed compliment I’ve heard! Games seemed too quick for him to react!? 8 game spells to get a groove - he was lucky to get 2 before a soft tissue injury in his first 5 years. His Only issue has been his body, that it’s. He is absolutely top class.
