Totally agree that he has done an outstanding job, the knock is that everyone has a "but". Acknowledge he is always honest, which causes some controversy, and that becomes what people talk about, not the job he has done on the ground. As a good coach, if something isn't working you change it...
I see his terminology is "We" not I . Maybe some coverage for the investigation. If it was him who sent the emails, texts etc then it is not "we", he has to take responsibility solely doesn't he? Interesting that the president was informed (a solicitor) in order for it to stop it was reported...
That is my issue. Reckon at the moment we need more from him than the low possession pressure small forward. He has to begin to hit the scoreboard at least. Never question his endeavour, but he was largely ineffective pressure wise, and his touches were of minimal impact. Our injuries mean he is...
Bourke's article on Saturday re Fev- does that paint Yarrawonga into a corner? Surely any club looking for a coach will be all over him. Did Fev sign a 2 or 3 year deal last year? What happens to the O&M if he doesn't get the Yarrawonga job, and signs as a coach for a club in another league...
He was ok. Certainly not the answer to our problems. I have not read all the posts today, but McEvoy has to come in. Yes Hale is out of form, but Ceglar didn't even compete in the air in our forward half at crucial times Friday night. Puopalo is another who is underperforming ATM. Just doesn't...
I was actually disappointed. It was good, but not great. Didn't like Russell or Dippa's inputs. Would have been better with all the players in there together. Felt almost like it was put together in bits. Just my thoughts. This years could be done better. Did love the joy on Hill's face a few times.
I will answer my own question. Have it on extremely good authority many North players haven't been paid, Matt McDonald included. How can they refuse his clearance then, after publicly stating all players will be paid within the fortnight? Surely it is an automatic clearance. Secondly does anyone...
My understanding was that it was for a transfer. Transfers apply to WAFL and SANFL leagues. It wasn't his contract that was paid out. I may be wrong- I have been once before!
I have never understood that "theory". In this example North Albury are saving this amount of money- they haven't spent it- so why would any club have to pay out a player's contract? Maybe some reimbursement perhaps- but why would a club demand to be paid what they will save?
Does anyone know if Nth Albury players have been paid? 2 weeks well and truly past. Imagine they would have been seeing as though there has been nothing to the contrary.
