Umpiring Nick Foot reporting Zak Butters for abusive language

Exactly. The same people who will virtue signal at every opportunity won’t take a stand

Umpiring Nick Foot reporting Zak Butters for abusive language

Umpiring Nick Foot reporting Zak Butters for abusive language

Sportsbet had a very strong (and correct) stance that Nick Daicos wasn’t going to win last year up to and even during the Brownlow count last year. They take massive positions based on information/conviction and rarely have (or even aim for) a balanced book

Umpiring Nick Foot reporting Zak Butters for abusive language

The umpire’a employment with Sportsbet is a blatant conflict of interest. Insiders at Sportsbet who are framing markets for Brownlow medal betting will likely have inside information regarding the umpire’s opinions on certain players or his general attitudes/way of thinking from having day to...

Umpiring Nick Foot reporting Zak Butters for abusive language

Ridiculous decision that will surely be overturned on appeal. All of the evidence points in one direction. Another point that might have been overlooked is that Butters was eager to engage with the umpire after the game but the umpire refused. When one person is lying it can be inferred that...

Umpiring Nick Foot reporting Zak Butters for abusive language

Wait... this AFL umpire is actually in a paid role with Sportsbet. What an absolute joke. Actual and perceived conflict of interest.

List Mgmt. 2026 List Management Discussion

Great news with those re-signings. Buying relatively low on both of them, both have good upside potential. We have done well to get our younger/developing players to sign deals. Much prefer this approach to stretching for Zac Bailey (would love to keep him and he deserves to get paid but I...

Unofficial Preview Changes & discussion v Saints, round 3.

The inclusions are pretty obvious… Gardiner, McCluggage, Bailey and Morris. There’s probably about 10 players who could be considered to drop. Coleman, ZZ, Allen, Gallop, Lohmann, McCarthy, Tunstill, Annable, Draper. I think Tunstill is a pretty clear out, there’s not room for him with our...

Mega Thread Nick Daicos - Can he be the GTWEB? Part 2

Excellent player but never been top 3. Never been as good as Bont. Rowell clearly better last year
