not saying that is impossible, but even a severe inversion sprain has not in my experience caused achilles / insertion problems. But it may be posterior impingement if he has damaged a small bone in front of the Achilles, which is still way better than an Achilles injury, mostly. Hoping for Freo he is ok. I have picked Freo for top 6, so am interested in their progress.
