Wasn't sure if it had been mentioned by anyone yet but Broadford has its annual Swap Meet this weekend at Harley Hammond Reserve. The club has been running this for a long time now, and the weather forecast means it should be another good day this year
Picture of the Romsey ruck recruit in the free press on friday. Says he is 6'5' and looks bloody fit when do clearances open I guess that is when we will start to see if all the rumours are true or false as to who playng where.
Last time I posted I got Doona in trouble so wont be doing that again. Guy at work said to the big fella Rob Wittmer is playing at Broadford, why wouldn't he play at Kilmore and help the boys teach the youngsters?
wish someone would rip pickles head off anyway how relaible is his word last time i checked his name was mud over lancefield romsey way so doubt they be giving him too much and thats coming from a reliable pigeon :thumbsd:
Werent u meant to be at work at 9.02 footy or did u clock off early?
All the best to Heathcote even though I did take the evens Colbo a couple of weeks ago.
Havent seen Red White and Black on the thread for a while.
Have they clipped your Halo?
According to a very astute saints follower and rub down extraordinaire, the saints are gone. Cant run out games coz half of em dont front tuesday or are too worried about sneaking over to Yea for sunday sessions.
Few in the RDFL think Meldrum might return to Macedon in 2010.
spoke with broadford coach doona this morning who said a guy he had earmarked for a match day role had joined Kilmore as their football operations manager. seeing we are new to your comp i was wondering do all clubs have people in such positions or is it a new step in becomming more professional...
apart from you doona were there any Broadford people there yesterday to see how the RDFL go about their business? sounds like a not so great advertisement for your comp i hope for everyones sake it gets sorted out
heard a good one this morning doona told heathcote legendry trainer spud that morgan got 2 weeks spud replied with "lucky to get that" we let him sit for a while then told him the truth
he is a legend the old spudda :thumbsu:
yes mate im back onboard although he wasnt keeping a lid on it he reckons you may struggle. see you saturday will des be coming over or does he have to work?
surely theyd be thinking things are fine 2 good teams the past 2 weeks and results show they havent been too far off. just wait for that much talked about forwardline to fire up and things will change pretty quickly i think
gee no wonder teh big fella has been quiet at work this week just read the barrage of posts. the whole reason all these blokes have left is for big big money nothing to do with doona at all. in fact i reckon if doona wasnt coach blokes like nic redenbach bill and eddie neilson, chook barton...
you amaze me doona be positive there has not been a clearance put in id be surprised that all the work you did last year if they did leave as i know having spoke to both boys they respect you a lot keep positive as from what i saw saturday fletch and ray satying would see the list in ok shape
