Funnily enough, both teams from the drawn Anzac Day game have won by a goal the following week.

Kept fluffing our lines in front of goal. Gave WC a sniff all game and sure enough they came at us near the end. Why why why can’t we just get a stranglehold on a game (other than the Bulldogs game)? Merrett is a gem.

Granted, with the proviso that he got himself in some sort of physical health 😂 I just think that players who come from nowhere early in their career (ie mid-low draft picks) to be competent players, often get there because they thrive in the environment that brought that out in them...

Orazio is one of those players who would’ve benefitted from sticking at the club where he found a niche (positional and cultural). He’d still be an important player at Essendon imo.

A bit of that for sure but they were ‘on’ against us - dynamic, incisive and everything they did came off. Yes, we allowed it but Port were about 500% more switched on than they were against Adelaide. Pricks 😁
