I finally watched the presser about the location. The bit that really kinda gave it away was when the architect pointed out the window and said, "That hilltop where the driving range facilities are, that’s the bit we reckon will connect to the top levels of the stadium".
First teaser of where the much vaunted walkable corridors are going to be. I have the feeling announcements for all sorts of things are going to start coming thick and fast over the next few months.
Anywho, I’m wondering if part of the transport plan is some sort of mega expansion of that QUT busway. They could lengthen the platforms, but could they also expand them out at that section to be 4 platforms?
It just feels like we are missing a big piece to the PT puzzle.

Good detective work fellas.
So here is the view from the roof of E Block, almost straight down the barrel of the gully that runs through the driving range and then dog-legs down to Gilchrist.
It's not actually going to fit in the gully; they are still going to have to take out a fair chunk of...
I found it to be a pretty enigmatic statement.

What does “Over the existing golf course” mean? Not over the driving...

I'm sure it will (perhaps even...
Keeping in mind that if you are going to count the driving range as ‘locked public greenspace’, then you have to count the playing surface of the stadium as locked public greenspace as well.
I don’t think there is any spin. The driving range takes up an amount of space in the park, and the...
IOC is the most image-conscious thing in the universe. "Games fiasco as gridlocked crowds can't get into stadium" is not a headline they would tolerate.
Their oversight board has final approval of a bunch of stuff, including transport infrastructure related to games operations.
They have...
No, everything they are saying now is that they are not going to build inside the driving range location. Now it's all about locating it in the flattest part requiring the least earthworks.
