There were a few standouts in the young guns game yesterday that I feel suit the style of game that we play.

Only by a little bit. That intercept that he had in the first showed really good closing speed. Halving that 2v1 deep in the forward 50 was impressive too.
Would much much rather McLachlan/Uerata etc. Young guns games were Gags came from and he is miles ahead of the recycled players we keep picking from the msd. Would rather get someone of his type in 6 months early than another clogger.

Here is a couple of good games to watch for the midseason draft.
Really want to get a good look at Uerata as he sounds like the sort of player that we need more of.
Also really like the little bit I've seen of McLachlan
Neither have really caught my eye really. Both just look like decent VFL players and not much more.
Really would rather try and get one of the 19yo's that could very well be long term players than just pick up what would just be more average depth players. One of McLachlan, Uerata and Kershaw...
