My biggest issue with it is that it stretches across 2/3 of the screen during play, a horrible ratio aesthetically. Either go back to the minimalist formats, centralize the scores (like ch 7) or extend the bar to cover the length of the screen permanently (whilst making its height slightly shorter)
We were lucky to be in front at quarter time last week. Plus we have looked laborious and out of sync for the entire last third of the season, only
scrounging enough wins to get to the GF by playing cooked teams or due to a few brilliant individual performances, primarily from Heeney...
The Swans in the mid 90s found themselves in a similar plight.
Luke Hodge was their Ron Barassi. A well past their prime player (coach) who went up there and instilled valuable experience and leadership in the early stages of the project
Lachie Neale was their Tony Lockett. Not the same...
People discount Adelaide's 1998 run because it was under the old system. I argue that makes it even better as their first match would've been against the 8th team (Essendon?) at home, meaning they would've likely advanced to the second week regardless, with the added benefit of an easier home...
Bounce and Best on Ground are just rubbish (why they didn't stick with the excellent Saturday Stretch, I'll never know). Front bar is the best because of its perfect mix of humour, nostalgia and analysis. Also the deep cuts it brings to the fore are superb. Bounce is just a clown show in...
For the first time ever, they seem like a legitimate club and not just some basket case franchise with no soul. Hopefully with some success, they can get a full house to games. They have more chance than GWS does in this regard due to Victorian expats, the holiday factor and the Queensland...
Take out the vaccination crap and everything is spot on. Though we do have massive inequality because of the disparity between economic classes.
We are just a few years behind the ****show that is the USA.
When you can't get your car out of a parking spot because the queue for a fast food drive through extends beyond its boundaries. It would be faster to go in and get your food you lazy *****
West Coast- Fan base has a real superiority complex and I hated the actual team from the mid 2000s for two obvious reasons.
Hawthorn is the same but for last decade. But they are second because I don't have to put up with them as much being on the other side of the country. Additional points...
The problem with most ostensibly 'left' parties nowadays is that they are only left wing on fluffy social issues (or woke as some would say). Most western left parties have simply embraced a diet version of neoliberalism, thus not improving the lives of the working class in any substantial way...
I looked over cats v pies games for the last few years, just complete garbage. There will have never have been so many consecutive games between two sides which have been so trash.
