Still why is it divisive to have 3 flags as we currently do? If those flags aren't relevant to you that is fine- just focus on the Union Jack flag.
Dutton is a pig in mud when it comes to culture wars. Anything he doesn't agree with or is the least bit progressive or modern must be 'woke nonsense'.
Dutton knows it can be a vote winner and get him in the headlines.
There's a bloke at work who has the 'one flag one nation' (or something similar) sticker on his car. He is the same bloke that continuously spouts racist and ignorant rubbish in the staff room.
The real issue is there is a certain type of Australian that use this issue to hide their racist views. I remember my grandparents who despised the Indigenous flag due to their racism and ditto with the far right.
This is not a smart arse answer however why is Dutton and his Sky News crew so fearful about the indigenous flag? If the flag brings self respect and pride to a section of the community why worry?
Ghost patrol is right and so are you. It's the Australian flag but the Australian flag has a union jack, which is British. Done. Next silly culture wars topic....
So what's the issue with First Nations people having a flag? It just doesn't matter. The official Australian flag is the one with the British Union Jack but there can be other flags surely.
