The season needs to hurry up and finish. Whilst we got an initial injection after Klopps announced departure I don’t think it has been a good thing for the club.
The point is the other two especially Arse are getting through games with a lot more ease. Saying that we haven’t dropped points against a team not named Arse or City since before Christmas, so who’s to say we will drop any in the run in. Returning players and desire to see off Klopp could get...
We look the most likely to drop points. Most games we are involved in are a scrap where we get behind or are level without a lot of time left. Arsenal always seem to get an early goal and have total control for the entire match. Maybe with returning players we will flick the switch and we will...
City and Arse are just doing it too easily. Time will tell if it’s the same when up against Spurs away and in a few of the trickier games. But I suspect we are going to need to win it out to take the league as its looking more and more unlikely that City and Arse drop any points.
Such a crucial round of matches for the title challenges. Palace are a bit of a bogey side for City - and score first.
Brighton and United away are tricky asf.
Arsenals next 5 matches are not givens. A couple of tricky away games and London derby’s.
Manc has the easiest run home unfortunately. At least we can afford to drop a couple of points via a draw so long as Arsenal also drop some points which I suspect they will.
I thought Jones looked like he didn’t miss a beat.
Robbo’s drive and crossing really made an impact.
We are use to Elliott making an impact in the final quarter.
Great subs. What a difference it makes to have enough fit players to make meaningful and tactical subs.
Getting TAA and Jota back...
Yea I agree but Arsenal also a couple points ahead of City and with a far better goal difference. Agree, City can win it out but that’s the perfect scenario for them and they look a little vulnerable not necessarily to lose but to not draw. They aren’t blowing teams away like in previous...
At the start of the match week I was thinking winner of City vs Arsenal win the league and in the event they draw and Pool win against Brighton then Pool favourites. Still plenty of time but I stand by that. Arsenal and City just have to be that little bit more perfect to see out the season and...
Those two Anthony Gordon penalties were disgusting. He made no play for the ball and instead threw his feet in front of players who were actually playing the ball. Not surprised by Gordon actions he has form.
