Really liked his game, handballed a few to many times when he should have kicked the ball himself, but I think that’s from a bit of lack of belief in himself.

    Umpiring

LOL at BT saying the umpire must have been unsighted. Every campaigner in the stands could see a push in the back, but somehow one of the four peanuts on the ground couldn’t spot it?

News Jack Dyer Stand may go in $60m Punt Road Oval redevelopment

People are surprise the Punt Rd Oval redevelopment could cost $100 mill? Swans facility cost $70 mill in the end, they didn’t have to demo a grand stand, build a new grandstand fix up a football oval and don’t have 3 levels of underground parking.

In 2019, when we were the best, the cats belted us by 70 when we were missing 7-8 players of our best 22.

Universal Love Welcome to Richmond Adem Yze

Steve Morris has been a fantastic VFL coach, we had games last season with 3-4 AFL listed players and were still competitive. I would not be letting him go.

Autopsy Roast & Toast R5 vs West Coast & Changes for The Bye

Well that was over a decade ago and we have ample sample size to show he’s an average midfielder, but one of the best backmen in the comp.

Yea, having first round picks doesn’t guarantee you get great players. Imagine trading Bolton for what could be RCD and Corey Ellis.

Autopsy Roast & Toast R5 vs West Coast & Changes for The Bye

A overall positive this season has been the development of our forward I reckon. Last year we looked like we had no one in the front half capable of doing anything, now guys like Mansell, MJ and Campbell all look like promising half forwards and Lefau looks like he could be a handy player as well.

You gotta give them credit though, they do a lot right in so many areas to stay competitive. They’ll always have a leg up with the ground and the hill billy factor for attracting players that want to live out that way.

100% not sure why people are melting. Kids with little experience are gonna make errors, get games into them and these errors go away (for the most part). Perfect example is Gryan Miers, was a bit of a spud early on, but with enough games, development and confidence he’s become a high quality...

Yea I have no idea, never seen it happen like that before, but wouldn’t be surprised that the umps had no idea what they were to do and just winged it. Plenty of times this year I’ve seen umpires not know the rules.

since when does a descent free kick get paid where the player is mouthing off? Surely it should have been a free from the centre circle? AFL will just tick it off of course

    😲 Umpire appointments & discussion - Rounds 0, 1,2 and beyond

Welcome Welcome to Richmond Pick 17 - Tom Brown

Oh really? They were? And then they played their best football when put into a position on the ground where they were best able to utilised their strengths. Brown doesn’t, and probably never will have the tank to play on a wing at AFL level, his best position will be in the back half of the...
