Carlton, Melb, Richmond and Ess were finding talented 18yo’s and did nothing with them for years.
Haw have spent 4 years at the bottom to get talent to hopefully win a flag.

Agree - and would add the fastest way to develop youth, is too ensure they have experienced mentors and leaders.
That ensures far more productive list management, as those who won’t make are released early, and those with significant upside nurtured and prioritized.
Do either have the knowledge and networks and experience of GW - it’s not an issues if he’s their as mentor.
If not then I’d say we need to find a best available.
