Because then for an example your girlfriend does not have Foxtel, you can give her your login details and she gets free foxtel?
Or if you are on holiday and want to watch Foxtel on the go, you can plug it in and watch it on your TV?
What a silly question?
Fair enough. There are scenario's where you'd be better off going for a regular savings account i do agree with you, but for anyone who is a disciplined saver, you can't go past the 17% govt contribution.
Is anyone opening an account before July 1?
Why would anyone plonk 50k in this account?
If you use it correctly you work out a lot better off than a regular savings account.
Eg. Put 6k in a week before the deadline each FY and you are approx $3800 better off. The rest goes in a term deposit or high interest savings account.
Only need to...
If anyone's interested, I got the hack going which allows me to connect my iPad to my TV via HDMI, so now i can watch it all on my tv. Thanks Foxtel :)
White rice is still a complex carb. Yes it has a higher GI value than brown rice, but it is not high enough for it to be classified as a simple carb.
Simple carbs are typically sugars.
You're way off topic..
He's referring to guys doing abs thinking doing 100's of crunches is going to strip body fat off their abs.. Also referring to the people who are "doing tricep push downs "to lose the fat off their triceps" ....
Fair enough dude, i agree with all that..
The only thing we don't both agree on is what we would define as high reps and low weight..
We'll agree to disagree on that one :P
Actually this is not correct.
Losing fat comes down to calories in vs calories out..
Body composition comes down to what you eat.
That's a contradiction bud, you say higher reps is better for losing weight, then you say low reps heavier is better for increasing metabolism?
"Low weight, higher reps" ...
Still, what is the point in lifting "low weight".. what do you consider "low weight"?
Even if he did what you're saying 12 reps which you consider high, doing that at a low weight is still pointless?
Correct. With all that said, weight loss will always come down to calories in vs calories out.. working out will make your body burn more calories for a day, but remember, the title of this thread is "tips for lowering bodyfat percentage", not "how to get fit" etc..
The more muscle the body...
You're not going to wake up one morning and look like a bodybuilder mate.
Takes dedication, time and consistent training to put on muscle.
Basically, curls won't do much for you. You'll probably get more out of sticking to compounds: eg. bench, squats, deadlifts, chinups, pullups, dips...
When someone asks "what do you bench", you dont tell them what you can bench for reps, some people might do sets of 2 reps, some might do 4, some 6, some 8, some 12 ... you tell them your 1RM.. you ****
