I think with current KP defensive stocks we will be pretty stacked for options. Blanck, Frost, Weddle, Sicily, Scrimshaw, McCabe, DGB, Phillips. If we get Battle or Weitering, then DGB, Phillips and maybe even Frost need to go.

DGB is done regardless. Battle would be a huge win for us, but even without him I like the our defensive options.

There will never be another Cyril but I’m happy we have the first Nick Watson. Just keep in mind that for the first 3-4 years of Cyril’s career people were obsessed to distraction over turning him into a midfielder and complained that he did not get more disposals.

We got lucky w interruptions to his junior development. His vfl form would merit a top 5 pick in the draft.

Watson is killing it. I did not expect such a high level from him in his first 5 games. Keep in mind he had quite a nasty little injury for 4-5 weeks.
