    cuzz's influence

Due to living in tassie I am not around the club for such insights. So I am relying on input from others on which players have learnt from and improved by cuzz's influence.

four 2009 AA still available in rookie draft

These 4 youngsters (Blayne Wilson, Andrew Hooper, Matthew Panos and Dylan Mc Neill) are worthy draftees let alone rookies. Personally I would love us to take Andrew Hooper due to his on field leadership and his attitude, as well of our lack of quality small defenders. Who would be your pick?

    percentage of left footers

I have taken a head count of left footers at RFC and counted 4 players, this number is seriously low. This would have to be our lowest number for some time?.

Queensland, N.T, N.S.W and Tassie who will have most drafted

With this being a so called 'thin draft' how many players are expected to be drafted from these areas?.

captains who lead from the frontline

Of all our succesful years we always had captains that led from the front and were inspirational and were team men. Names such as Weightman, Sheedy, Roger Dean, Royce Hart, Francis Bourke and 'Captain Blood' are names synonymous wih the Richmond Football Club. Which name could end up as our next...

    Left footers

After watching Daniel Rich tonight it makes you question why left footers are more penetrable than right footers. Not only this, but they are more fluent and seem to have more time (well he made it look that way). Just like in cricket having left and right combinations gives more variety. Maybe...

Simmond and co. to get a new contract

If the strike goes ahead with security staff on grand final day the AFL may not have to look to far for help. Surely with all the retirees and delisted players there should be a few, just like 'the snake charmer' Simmonds who have backgrounds in martial arts. I wonder how many other...

If Trengove taken how about Martin at pick 3

I was looking at footage of Dustin Martin on afl Draft Info and he seemed to be very skilled by hand and foot. Cannot comment too much, but I would like feedback by people who have watched him play. If Trengove is snapped up by Melbourne Martin might be the next best thing (especially some of...

    what should happen with rookies

Imo Nahas, Silvester and Gourdis should be upgraded and Browne and Gilligan be re-rookied. My reasons are: Nahas absolute champ. Silvester seems better than Sarge as a bigger bodied backman. Gourdis needs to be let loose next season. Browne and Gilligan both need time.

2010 year of learning how to tackle

One thing that I get so frustrated about is how low our tackling count is each week. This deficiency has been the major reason why we can't make top 8.It basically tells a lot of home truths?.
