Easy solution. Extend the season to 24 matches, limit the interchanges and don't worry about winning games just stack the midfield to drive it forward to a fully open forward line with a strong leading full forward. Has this been done before? Oh and change the "hands in the back rule"...

I have and it is. Now try getting some DVDs of games from the 80s and 90s including some of the "dull" ones and report back. The only thing saving AFL is that the competition in Soccer and Rugby is way more boring.
