    Welcome to Hawthorn, Ricky Henderson

I find it strange that he's not listed on the Hawks website in the senior players section and there's been no training pics or videos of him. Is he actually still at the club?

Autopsy Hawks vs Dockers - We bested the west!

Think you'll find that's a creative reference to Ross Lyons press conference last night where he said "does that make sense" about 10 times

Moved Thread Ryan Schoenmakers - is now a premiership winning forward and has a 2 year contract extension

Gunston spoke at a function I attended at the ground tonight. Said he got out of the moon boot today and is doing everything he can to get up for the Freo game. He was walking ok and I rate him an 80\20 chance to play.

    Tim O'Brien's progress...

No body is questioning his ability. My point is Tim is an introvert and playing with aggression and urgency doesn't come naturally and having long term contracts could be creating too big of a comfort level.

    Tim O'Brien's progress...

From memory the club extended his contract in his first year and then recently extended it to 2017. I'm questioning if this is contributing to the way he plays. I can't help think we'd see a different Tim O'Brien if he was playing to keep his career alive.

I reckon Frawley will start forward again...

Game Day Round 22, 2015: Hawthorn v Brisbane Lions, 2.10pm @ Aurora Stadium

Left of screen is the scoring end today. WX travelled across as well, obviously not playing unless there's an injury in warm up.

It's now blowing a gale. Prepare for a day of points

Game Day Round 22, 2015: Hawthorn v Brisbane Lions, 2.10pm @ Aurora Stadium

Just arrived in Launceston. The wind is still for the moment but the sky looks grey and angry... Like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli.

Review Round 19: Northern Blues v Box Hill Hawks, 2pm, 22 August 2015 @ Preston City Oval

I think they got the top 5 right. Howe had a good game and his tackling was great. But the reason for me that he didn't get in the best was quite a few times his handballs went straight to a team mate who was immediently tackled. It wasn't exactly a high pressure game (as reflected on the...

Review Round 19: Northern Blues v Box Hill Hawks, 2pm, 22 August 2015 @ Preston City Oval

I reckon you could attribute at least 6 goals to Shem because of his tackling, shepherding, little taps and great pickups below his knees. He should get play of the day for 2 big tackles that resulted in a goal to Lawlor. I almost felt sorry for the oppo when he was tackling them, almost!

I doubt he'd sit and watch the game if he had a broken wrist...

Review Round 19: Northern Blues v Box Hill Hawks, 2pm, 22 August 2015 @ Preston City Oval

He sat near me in the last quarter and the only thing I noticed was he had his wrist taped.

Review Round 19: Northern Blues v Box Hill Hawks, 2pm, 22 August 2015 @ Preston City Oval

Tap work was ok at centre bounces. Got out bodied a few times around the ground. Didn't see him do much in terms of possessions but he really wasn't required in that sense today.

Review Round 19: Northern Blues v Box Hill Hawks, 2pm, 22 August 2015 @ Preston City Oval

Was at the game, a few observations. Langers- Typical Langford game, battled hard often getting the ruck taps, tackled well but lacked a little bit of polish. Could do with another run to fine tune, should be right for the Carlton game. Jed- found space on the wings and used the ball well...
