SALADA/VladFL: Slap on the wrist. - STRICTLY ESSENDON SUPPORTERS ONLY

Yep, but that is their role anyway. In the unlikely event that something turns up from other sources, irrespective of whether the investigation is closed, they are still required to investigate it. Unless there is some specific legislative clause stating otherwise (which I am too lazy to look...

After Hirdy states that he gave his word not to discuss the ASADA investigation, and we now give our word to give him his job back. What standards do you work too?

Great, give it to the club. I for one am updating my membership, and will donate again to the flight plan. Support the club and be at the game tomorrow

SALADA/VladFL: Slap on the wrist. - STRICTLY ESSENDON SUPPORTERS ONLY

Agreed, but that is an end game beyond the current problem, which is the AFL trying to get a solution out of their hearing. I really don't think that the individuals are between a rock and a hard place, their options can lie outside of the AFL system. Essendon does have an issue however, as it...

SALADA/VladFL: Slap on the wrist. - STRICTLY ESSENDON SUPPORTERS ONLY

AFL really screwed up releasing that charge sheet. It was grossly overblown with poor evidentiary support. It also created excessive media accusations. Further, it has created a rod of expectation for the AFL where any charges that are excessively less than that ridiculous document looks like a...

SALADA/VladFL: Slap on the wrist. - STRICTLY ESSENDON SUPPORTERS ONLY

Agree. The issue is the sources. As Hird stated last night, he gave his word to keep confidentiality ... I wonder who else made that commitment (but without the same moral fibre)???

SALADA/VladFL: Slap on the wrist. - STRICTLY ESSENDON SUPPORTERS ONLY

I really hope that the club has a media strategy that is about to be implemented, one that includes multiple interviews with our charged people. We have been told to wait until we tell our side, well the release of the AFL 'charge' and allegations sheet removed all restrictions on letting the...

Mega Thread All AOD-9604 Discussion - Still Illegal but ASADA will not press charges on AOD9604 - McDevitt

Except for one small fact, he was the AFL doctor at the time that he found this information out, as stated on the program. Suggest you watch the program before embarrassing yourself.

Mega Thread All AOD-9604 Discussion - Still Illegal but ASADA will not press charges on AOD9604 - McDevitt

What part of this drug being classified under S2 don't you understand???? ASADA classified AOD under S2, that is it was an S2 type drug. It found that it was not banned under this category. End of story, S0 is irrelevant from there on. See the second paragraph, hard to comprehend isn't it.

SALADA/VladFL: Slap on the wrist. - STRICTLY ESSENDON SUPPORTERS ONLY

You've missed the point. It was classified under S2, and under that classification it was found to be okay. If it is classified under S2 it cannot be also classified under S0. You don't get two shots. This method was established under WADA's own guidelines. S0 is a non issue.

Times 1000, AFL should be ashamed that they let this whole drugs rubbish carry on based on a known falsehood. I think the Essendon players have a case to sue the AFL.

Accepting punishment is tantamount to an admission of guilt, irrespective of any fact. I for one do not want to see this club tarred with the drug cheat brush for the next 10 years, cause that will be the result.

Traded #32: Travis Colyer - traded to Freo for future 4th rounder

Without a doubt, kicking was Trav's greatest issue. What Trav's and Melk's performances show is that our development system at last seems capable of making marginal players with potential into good solid contributors. This is something that the Collingwoods and Hawthorns have been doing for many...

SALADA/VladFL: Slap on the wrist. - STRICTLY ESSENDON SUPPORTERS ONLY

It was interesting that On The Couch started to question whether there was anything behind Essendon's confidence in the supplement program. But something Healy said made it click for me. He said that perhaps Reid had something to do with how the program ran. That made me recall that the SO...
