List Mgmt. 2025 AFL Draft - Draft Analysis

For those in the know, when trading picks are you assessing the value of the picks you have pre bids or post bids? as we know this year the DVI is a lot less. 3/4 v 6/7 is significant v 5/6 v 9/10
  2. BAFLD

List Mgmt. 2025 AFL Draft - Draft Analysis

Agree I can’t see us moving down unless a F1 is involved
  3. BAFLD

List Mgmt. 2025 AFL Draft - Draft Analysis

Don’t budge Richmond. Take Robey and Cumming. 🙏
  4. BAFLD

List Mgmt. 2025 AFL Draft - The Final Countdown

Agree Cumming looks dynamic and a POD in midfield. Cumming/Sharp combo in midfield imo is the ideal pairing

List Mgmt. 2025 AFL Draft - The Final Countdown

Did we miss a trick this year not trading Shorty? Just not sure where his best role is anymore and that will be compounded if we draft a Taylor or Grjl

How many red ball Saturday/Sunday games for us this season?

I too did think the SA strategy to bring the 3 boys over together would be attractive to us. Be interesting to see if it comes to fruition. I really like the mix it gives us.

Is Connor Stone worth a look as a DFA?
  10. BAFLD

List Mgmt. 2025 AFL Draft - The Final Countdown

Absolutely I can see us taking Sharp but he’d need to be paired with someone that compliments him ion the outside. We were ranked 18 for clearance last season. Sharp makes sense but we can’t have Taranto or Hopper being the distributors i50. I think we take the three SA boys and bring them over...

List Mgmt. 2025 AFL Draft - The Final Countdown

The Geish and Hartley talk about a players “ceiling” a lot which means we always have our eyes on drafting players with potential future improvement/growth. Who are the players that have shown growth across the season particularly towards the back end of the season? I like Oskar Taylor/ Sul...

    Player Watch #40 Tyler Sonsie

Don’t we have two Rookie A spots vacant? Whats stopping us from delisting Dow/Sonz and redrafting them on the Rookie list? The way I see it is; we have three Primary list spots available. Kaps, Kosi and Young. If we take a F2 for Young then we keep 1 of Dow/Sonz on the Primary List. If we get...

    Training Pre Season ‘25

It’s a VFL player listed only match. No AFL listed players will play on Saturday.
  14. BAFLD

List Mgmt. 2024 Draft - Draftmas Day

Grimes, Martin, Naismith, Pickett, Bolton, Rioli, Graham, Baker, Cumberland - don’t we have 9 Primary List Spots available? Young makes it 8?
  15. BAFLD

List Mgmt. 2024 Draft - Draftmas Day

Also Young’s elevation from the Rookie list doesn’t chew up a draft pick anymore just a list spot so we still have 8 picks. 1,6,10,11,18,20,23,24
  16. BAFLD

List Mgmt. 2024 Draft - Draftmas Day

Given we set ourselves for this draft trading into it last year, I can’t see us trading too much out. Maybe only 24
  17. BAFLD

List Mgmt. 2024 Draft - Draftmas Day

Really good post this one. I have been wondering what type of player Ooze would want that compliments his game style. good kick and speed. That’s why I’d prefer Smilie and Reid over Allen I think
  18. BAFLD

List Mgmt. 2024 Draft - Draftmas Day

Does this mean you think we’re trading pick 6/10 for pick 2?
  19. BAFLD

List Mgmt. 2024 Draft - Draftmas Day

If Jagga is #1 what is the ideal pairing at #6? Assuming Draper will be off the board and the Roos take Tauru Jagga/FOS Jagga/Lalor Jagga/Smilie Jagga/Langford
  20. BAFLD

List Mgmt. 2024 Draft - Draftmas Day

I feel like I’ve been through the washing machine if that’s the case. Perhaps the whole plan has been JS all along and trying to get a handle on who slips through to pair him with a 6.? If Jagga is 1, who falls to 6?
  21. BAFLD

List Mgmt. 2024 Draft - Draftmas Day

It’s a massive call at 6 if FOS is still on the board. Surely we partner him up with Lalor.
  22. BAFLD

List Mgmt. 2024 Draft - Draftmas Day

Why would the Crows trade at 2 to take Jagga when he will likely be available at 4? Force North to take Tauru at 2. Blues will take FOS/Draper at 3 Just doesn’t make a lot of sense
  23. BAFLD

List Mgmt. 2024 Draft - Post Trade Period Edition

I agree. Ideally if we move upto 2 we are trying to keep 6 as well.
  24. BAFLD

List Mgmt. 2024 Draft - Post Trade Period Edition

depends how desperate NM are to split that pick into two first rounders.
  25. BAFLD

List Mgmt. 2024 Draft - Post Trade Period Edition

Don’t assume you know what I do and don’t know about footy and coaching. it’s a hypothetical trade scenario based on PA/NM rumoured interest in trading so we move up to pick 2. You have to give up something to get something. Calm the farm and have a proper conversation. Don’t get personal by...
  26. BAFLD

List Mgmt. 2024 Draft - Post Trade Period Edition

You’re stupid if you can’t see the benefit of ending up with 1,2,6,13 - it’s not rocket science
  27. BAFLD

List Mgmt. 2024 Draft - Post Trade Period Edition

I’d like Rich to get pick 2 without giving up pick 6 if they are going to be part of this trade
  28. BAFLD

List Mgmt. 2024 Draft - Post Trade Period Edition

Maybe Port throw in 39 as well. IDK. something has to entice Port to be part of the trade though. 🤷‍♀️
  29. BAFLD

List Mgmt. 2024 Draft - Post Trade Period Edition

    The pick swap could be something like this… Pot give 13, 29 =1865 Get pick 11,23 = 2144 NM give pick 2 =2517 Get 10,18,F4 = 2587 Rich give: 10,11,18,23,F4 Get: 2,13,29 Rich = 1,2,6,13,,20,24,29
  30. BAFLD

List Mgmt. 2024 Draft - Post Trade Period Edition

Ok fair point, we’d probably have to give up a F2 or whatever to get the deal done. imo having three picks together is greater than pick 2. It gives us greater flexibility with our picks.
