Sacred Heart College is not that good

SHC have three things that puts them above the rest i reckon, 1. They have a good game plan and team structure as well as strength all around the ground 2. They all have exceptional footskills and rarely miss a target unless cos of a wet day 3. They are all very fit and run all day. All of these...

    2005 Draft Smokeys

umm im pretty sure the draft hasnt been yet crash 100

    2005 Draft Smokeys

probably forward flank or wing as hes more of a skills player than a grunt player, although his courage to put his body on the line is undoubted. Botten should be getting the centre role next year after playing all games in the 1sts in 05 (on half back and wing) and playing it all through lower...

    2005 Draft Smokeys

yes im not sure that he could play in sts midfield. A bit small much like johnson...won't be able to meet physical needs of a ctr player, sts have to many good onballers to put him in there however i dont know where else he would play... not versatile enough for me, although had a run on ball...

    2005 Draft Smokeys

another ducktown call there joinstone, tim davey made the reserves side at norwood after only needing about 3 games in 19's to prove he could carve up and kick bags as a small forward/ midfielder. Any player still in yr 12 who makes it at resis level is obviously a gun

top 30 picks (my top 30)

good call varcoe has the most potential out of these guys and youd think that he would be able to win games off his own boot with his flare and promise, injury won't prevent a club from having seen his true colours and what he is capable of... won't effect his placing for a player of his type i...

    2005 Draft Smokeys

very true his kicking does often let him down, sometimes thinks he's kicking a rugby ball and totally muffs it but with some teaching could become a dal santo type obviously no where near as good but thats a start sts year 10s coming up ... Alex kinal big gun forward strong lad probably best...

2006 SA 1st XVIII teams to beat

leave your useless posts off big footy because noone wants to know the names of who's going to make your "wicked" squad or whos "a great chance" we only care about people that will influence the games.

2006 SA 1st XVIII teams to beat

rostrevor? i think u went ducktown with that call, all they have is millar, then o'connor and sheridan, i dont think they are going to be any sort of threat to SHC and sts

    2005 Draft Smokeys

yeah probably more of a winger tho is better in space than in traffic, isnt quite as good as in an under altho is quite a strong player for his position but hasnt really worked out how to use it yet, will play a role in sts06 gun midfield tho

St. Peter's College vs. Prince Alfred College

i think everyone knows tom holmes is a gun, thank you captain obvious

    Which intercol is better?

thats probably because saints have a tradition of not going in the k.o comp hence my point thats the reason we havent won one, i think we might be entering the k.o comp next year with a bit of argument from myself and others for the first time in a long time to give SHC a run for their money and...

    Which intercol is better?

sts vs pac is the longest rivalry in the world... something like 134 years old i think and there is only about 2 games diff between wins record, despite the fact that shc and rc beat sts and pac sts vs pac is still always is no. 1 game of the year

    2005 Draft Smokeys

speaking of pace, anyone seen george whiting play? runs 100m in something like 11 sec and has consolidated a firm position in the sts 1sts this year. Kicked 3 goals on debut against st mic. only yr 11, very underrated

2006 SA 1st XVIII teams to beat

    Sacred Hearts B&F 2005

to the SHC guys is michael cilento the guy i played on for a while (did most of the kicking in) and y the hell is sam elliot or jed kenny in that top 5, they are both better than all of those guys bar maybe button
  20. S

    Sacred Hearts B&F 2005

couldnt have put it better colin, elliot is gun, but there are so many like him out there eg hurley, davey, smith....if elliot went to a different school he wouldnt get half the hype he does, having said that he is a top bloke
  21. S

    Lachie Button

Heard a lot of hype about this fella, have also played on him.... I know he absolutely dominates college footy in ruck....and it does help when your about 10cm and 10 kg bigger than everyone else on the field, however im not so sure that he has the skill, speed and that edge u need to play AFL...

St. Peter's College vs. Prince Alfred College

a biology teacher called peter warnes..... very hard on his players about fitness
  23. S

St. Peter's College vs. Prince Alfred College

School pride means jack all. I say this because it is the pride and respect u have for your team mates that really counts for a player to dig deep when needed. It all depends on how closely bonded each team is together. Everyone knows that u coulndnt care less if a master in charge or the...

    sa knockout final

would someone from SHC tell me who the hell this forster guy is iv played shc twice and havent noticed him or heard his name callled once, he gets talked up a bit..... obviously a rubbish player tho
  25. S

    SA Draftees

i wouldnt be suprised, tom has some great qualities AFL clubs would be looking for, amazing tank, can run 1500m in 4.01m.....crazy and has great leadership skills, good grab and set shot, just grown to 190cm draft would have to be rigged for him not to go
  26. S

    Hawkins

hawkins cannot run. does not have the complete game to be an AFL star, having said that he is a unit, has a nice grab and a good methodical set shot
  27. S

    No.1 in 2006???

gibbs and sellar top 2 next year, both amazing talents. some are starting to say sellar no 1 b4 gibbs now after 16s champs

    SA Knockout Competition 1st XVIII

why were all these players out?
  29. S

    SA Draftees

Smith is best suited to an in and under position, very good tackler, plays ruck rover in college footy also deceptively tall probly 185+, can play anwhere on the ground (but not as good forward) and has a real go, can dig deep when needed to, no questions about his courage and commitment having...
