Coach Alastair Clarkson - NMFC Senior Coach - Coaching & Football Discussion II

I don’t get why we’d pump games into Corr? He is coming to the end of his career. We should be pumping games into Pink or even Dawson over Corr. Selected teams continually have baffled me under Clarko. Under previous coaches I always considered 1, maybe 2 players stiff to continually miss out...

Ollie Dempsey.. is a very good player, but the type who is exceptionally good against us. Floating wingman types should not kick 4+ goals

Tom doesn’t seem like he’s up for the fight atm. Getting plenty of game time and hasn’t shown much at all for 12 months now

Player Watch #47: Cooper Trembath - signed end '26 - 17 goals in first 7 games - Rising Star nom Rd4 - re-signed until the end of 2029

I agree with Wayne. Coop is great in the ruck, but the knee on knee knocks will come back this year with the rule change. Go for it in huge finals type games. We can’t afford to lose him, keep him up forward taking hangers and kicking goals

Game Day NM v Richmond 1.10pm Marvel Stadium

At the G, I would be nervous about this game. At Marvel, we should win by 5 goals. Can’t wait to see Trembath!!!!!

His leap in the ruck on Good Friday… I have not seen that since McKernan. He can’t be can he? McKernan in the ruck and a player we won’t mention up forward?

I’m not convinced Logan McDonald would have contributed to 15 more wins. To answer your question. I’d take Trembath over McDonald.. I was pretty excited a few seasons ago when Comben first showed a bit of talent, but the levels of excitement regarding Trembaths potential I don’t recall feeling...

Last qtr. Parker down back. Trembath and Wardlaw in the guts. Sheezel moved to CHF worked a treat, he led up to the kicker and we were able to transition the ball higher up the field
