Review Geelong spifflicate Fremantle by 69 points. - Rnd 18

That was one of those rare, beautiful games where no one on the team plays poorly. Parfitt deserves a special mention for his match high 10 tackles. He slips under the radar a bit in amongst the gun mids but he was just brutal around the stoppages.

Darcy is clearly Freo's best tonight but Stanley hasn't sucked. Hope he keeps his head up in the second half.

Good quarter. Parfitt is a beast of a tackler. Dahlhaus and Higgins looking very good.

You can't. Evan's and Jarvis's AFL stats to date make Sav's look good - they'll absolutely get better but they're not there now. CS will shift an older head forward to kick goals - Dangerfield, Tuohy or Menegola. Dangerfield listed at HFF on the team sheet suggests it'll be him though I've...

How good was R17! Cats the only team in the 8 to beat a team outside the 8. Cats and Melbourne the only teams in the 8 to beat a team lower on the ladder. Don't want to jinx it but I'm shifting from top 4 to top 2 hopes.

I'm guessing: Ins: Selwood, Dahlhaus, Narkle Outs: Holmes, Rohan (inj/managed), Hendo (managed) Doesn't seem to be much love for Narkle but he'll be fresh so should come in. I don't think Freo have much height forward with Tabener out beyond Lobb (Blicavs takes him) so can rest a tall...

Reckon Narkle is a lock to come in for managed dude 3 as the only other player on the list not coming off a 5 day break.

As a trade sure but reckon Chook will get delisted and rookied by a weaker club where he'll get a run.

Five day break with travel - could see players managed at both ends. Might see hendo out after missing one game all season and spending 90% + tog.

Have to agree to disagree on that one. Fort put out a string of BOGs and was manhandling oppo rucks like it was men vs boys (and perhaps it was). But then Stanley put out a stinker vs Hickey which wqas obviously Fort's chance ... and the MC decided to push our AA grade fullback into the ruck...

People are writing off Melbourne a bit too early - they've dropped games they should've won but beat the Dogs and Lions pretty comfortably before the bye. I expect they'll do the same to Port.

Yeah, a fit and mediocre-to-good Stanley in the ruck with Blicavs back is absolutely my first choice too - but he's injury prone and puts up games like that against the Swans that instantly get him booted out of the team. I though Fort was the obvious choice to replace him coming off 5...

Ins: Ratugolea, O'Connor, Higgins Outs: Cameron, Narkle, Dahlhaus (managed) ... though I worry it could be Close Worth noting that Simpson should be back in the VFL this week. Reckon he's the only player that could push into the best 22 before finals. Evans has done well the last two weeks...

Tightness in both hamstrings before the match I think and then according to Scott's post-match a corky during the match. Iced the leg when he came off which doesn't look great. To sum up - NFI.

Yes! I want to see how Sav goes as a true key forward with Jezza out rather than 'decoy ruck' or whatever he's been playing. I'm not expecting much but after the games that have been put him into him we should at least have a look.

Hawkins, Dangerfield could consider themsleves unlucky but tough to get BOG when your team loses by 40 points and Parish deserved that.

Don't like the surprise injury to O'Connor but I like the ins. Stanley in the ruck means Blicavs can go back to the position that earned him an AA squad spot and shore up a shakey defence. Miers means we have a goal-kicking small forward again. I reckon the Cats are going to be keen to make...

Think you're right on Kolo and Stevens being a similar height but also think Kolo has 10kg on him - asking Stevens to defend Hooker or Wright would be throwing him to the wolves. Give him a couple of years. I think he's being used more in HBF role in the VFL at the moment. Agree that the MC...
