    I think New Zealand played their 'final' against South Africa and India will win. However, Santner is a pretty clever and astute captain who uses his bowlers well and if Allen and Seifert can stay in for ten overs, anything is possible. Wonder if Plugger35 is staying up for match.

    Thanks, 35Daicos and Killer. As 35Daicos mentioned, what other use did they have if not for just signaling goals and behinds. Red flags for goals and white flags for behinds is something new and was unaware of.

    Any information available on introduction of goal umpires waving flags after goals and behinds are scored? Wikipedia states northern Tasmanian association introduced it in 1884 but don’t know where they got that from.

    When did you know we were in trouble

    and Peter Caven played in two premierships with Adelaide in 97 and 98. That's a cool story. Still remember his 100-metre torp kicking out from full back in 93 opening round against Carlton in last quarter which landed on Fitzroy's forward line and sparked our comeback to win the game.
