I thought that it was someone's idea of a cruel joke.....:( All the best Josh and hope his recovery goes well. Maybe it's time for Wilbur to go back on the ball and RFK to take his spot in the back line?? It also opens up positions for Sal and SOG. All is not lost. I hope the players...

    One confession from every club

Port Adelaide: 1. Mark Williams to leave the media mind games to the pros and concentrate on developing a game plan that wins finals 2. Adam Kingsley to learn how to kick a football from Roger James. ahhhhh. that's better...

    anybody want a dartboard?

Yeah we went to a few cows' games just to barrack for Scotty and Tregger. Copped heaps for bagging all the other fruit tingles, but it was fun. More fun now we beat them though.:D

    Boulton and Bucky

I sent the club an email a few years ago, suggesting improvement to the dining area. I couldn't believe it when Bucky himself phoned me from his mobile, in his car, on the way to a meeting.....no other club would have someone who does that. I'm glad that we have a someone who is well...

    Our Midfield

don't care where we end up,as long as it's in the 8, and who we play as long as win in September, which is when it counts..... Sorry had to get off 13 posts lol RIP Hookesy

    anybody want a dartboard?

I used to follow individual players like Bradley, Phillips, Abernethy *drools* and Wangas rather than teams as such. Had a soft spot for Collingwood for a while when Phillips and Abba were there and Jack coached but that was very short lived.... There's always been only Port...

    Grand Final in April

I'm so sick of the mcg excuses. I saw us demolish Hawthorn there in 2002-when they were flying too. What was our excuse then?? I saw us put in insipid performances there last year against the same, and lower, sides. Why????? It's not like we've lost to great teams there. In fact we've been...

PAFC 2003 The Good, Bad and Ugly

who and who? Didn't think they were on our list anymore......so who cares?;) PS I went to training at Alberton near the end of Jack's tenure. It was abysmal. It was obvious his time was up. He was an absolute legend, and will always be our first ever AFL coach, but get over it.......:p

Who is ur fave Power player?

I'm just waiting to see the new super-fit, super-motivated Kingers. Where was he in 2003?? PS My faves are Wangas and Pickett for their total commitment to the jumper despite any prospect of injury to themselves. Wilbur is another one whose endeavour I can't fault.

    Cain Ackland

I'm just wondering what future Cain has at the club. Is he being groomed as a key position player or is he a "last choice" ruckman if the first 3 go down with injury etc? I can't see any of Primus, Lade or Brogan making way for him, so what will his role be?

    everyone needs introductions

Hi. Some of you know me from my former home..... Anyway, I live in Melbourne and have been a Port supporter all my life (don't ask how long that's been please!) We used to have season tickets etc etc in Adelaide, until we moved to Melbourne about 3 years ago. We signed up over here and have...

    Tredders' new goal-kicking coach... (Scandinavian!?)

It's been a long, sad summer Beffery.......:(
  26. P

    Bishop

I don't think he mans up tight enough, but believe that he's vastly underrated due to his versatility. He doesn't get many votes or accolades, but can usually be relied upon to do his job. He is one of our more consistent performers.
  27. P

    Ebert

I don't see Kane Cornes as a playmaker, much the same as Josh Francou. I think Sal and Ebo will be, but not just yet. Kingsley will never be more than a workhorse, if he's fit. Our playmakers need to come from the Burger boys, Wangas, Rog and Scoey imho. They are the ones who can carry the...

Recruiting since 1998. How good has it been?

Maybe 2004 is the year he has no choice but to blood some new guys. I just hope they can stand up to the pressure.Remember Josh Carr spent what seems like an eternity at the Bays, and he's turned out pretty well I reckon. I'm looking forward to seeing some new faces in the preseason cup...
