Only met Dean once, at Lidge's memorial get together after the North and Swans game. I did not know anyone, but Dean introduced himself at the bar, made me welcome and before I knew it, had introuduced me to quite a few old posters on here. Cracking bloke. Condolences to family and friends.
like everyone else, thoughts are often with ToD and McGooley. Am hoping you got to watch yesterdays game. Thanks for the update Ferball.
Your positivity and outlook on life has helped me on my cancer journey over the past 6 months, thankyou to you both.
In the context of attempting to address the subpar high forward link play, bringing in Spargo, then Hugo makes some sense. Hugo's score assist numbers in the SA game were encouraging.
It was always going to be tough after the Paul Johnson era and the offsensive reset, but we were a dumpster fire in the Geoff Collins era. Brent Key has been wonderful in restoring some pride back for the Ramblin' Wreck. Been a good start to the season, but we need to go on with it unlike last...
Fair to say he was pretty blindsided by being released. Next to zero feedback from crazy Vossy through the season, then given the pink slip. They are hoping he gets picked up by Crows or Port for obvious reasons, but open to staying in Vic. The kid can play.
I do not get here much these days, so missed the initial post. Thoughts and best wishes are with you both T.O.D and McGooley. Your courage, resilience and openness is an amazing example to us all. Positive thoughts and strength to you both.

The majority of the side can be thankful that they have not been dropped. But I feel no sympathy for those that have been dropped, even if some others are more deserving.
Being less s*** than others should not be a reason for having the privalege of putting on the North guernsey.
The whole duty of care/ he didn't try to slow down drivel coming from some quarters defies evidence. Every single screen shot shows Arch's centre of gravity transferring back as he tries to pull up. The last shot is the most telling, there was nothing he could do whilst he tries to cushion the...
That comment is bang on. There was little love for a guy that did not kick goals, got few touches, turned the ball over nearly 20% of the time and was not fantastic with pressure.
He did save his best game for playing North though.
There is no bias with old Geraldo.
Just last year with Goldy-

Healy: “Oh, I think it's a good decision by him to go and take one or two years at a club like the Bombers."
I certainly don't think we will lowball him. And pure spitballing, I doubt any delays over signing would be due to money, because we have the cap space. I figure he wants to see our progression, which is purely speculation. My concern is if the club thinks that is the reason, and at the same...
Cool your jets Eddy, the only one having a melt is you. lol Not sure where I said LDU was walking out. The simple fact is LDU has not signed on yet, and it would be perfectly reasonable for him to wait and see.
IF the club feels under the heat to keep him, it could force their hand in trade...
