    BigFooty Trial Phantom Draft 2007

Re: BigFooty Trail Phantom Draft 2007 He has done very well for himself, but hes played 4 games, 2 best ons, and the best on last weekend against Gippsland is very questionable with only 10 disposals. Also a guy like Harry Croft who has played alot of TAC footy inc a premiership, along with...

    Aps Vs Ags

Kennedy is playing this week so he isnt injured, sands injured all year, cachia didnt make the initial squad, Shaw from MGS before cumbrae or mclardy, Chivers from SKC also would have to be considered...

    APS players in Vic Metro/Country

No its Steve Wallis son, who played for Footscray in the late 80's and 90's. Wallace does have a son though, who was the initial squad not sure if he made it, Brent or Brett i think?

    2007 Country and Metro Squads

I too was shocked when i heard he was not picked for the WA game, but as he is such a versatile player and can virtually play anywhere on the ground, there are going to be guys who have a set position who would be in front of Otten when it comes to the side being picked. However having said this...

    APS Combined Side

Most of that looks pretty good except last time i checked Sanfillipo didnt play in the ruck.. Fairly good side, maybe take out Lisle in place of the ruckmen. The guys in the team are all good enough, but for some maybe not in the right positions, example Chivers on the wing and Lisle at rover..

    GGS vs SKC

Geelong College were much better on the day, but St.Kevins did have 3 players out who usually play a very important part in their games..full credit to Geelong though

top 10 from the APS this year?

If you read the thread title, its the top 10 from the APS this year, seeing as though Henderson and McCarthy have been injured this year, how could they be in the top 10? Sargent probably would be in the top 10 based on form this year.. Not such a supid comment

Weaknesses and Strengths of every team: APS

McCarthy is a very good player, but wouldn't say he is the key to the side, after he has been injured in the first 6 rounds, with Skevs having a number of players who can run through the middle or play off a forward/back flank

    U19 (Premier)

Why wasn't Fridge Hartley picked in the side? Has not only been dominating down back but has been known to drink 30 cans on a number of occasions

    Best Backman in the APS?

After 6 rounds have been played, who would be the best backman? and which team would have the best backline altogether?

Only couple missing would be Hill from Scotch and Smith from Halieybury

St Kevins vs Xavier, who will win and why?

Cachia Purcell Broadhurst and Castricum are all playing for St.Kevins against Xavier, the next trial game is on the Queens Birthday weekend, not the game against Xavier.

    SKC vs BGS

Watts is a good player, not doubting that, but Chivers with his ability to jump and large aerobic capacity, will be able to go with him. Sargent, would be matched up by a player like Luke Andrews, Andrews is very accountable, but at the same time if Sargent doesnt pay Andrews the respect he...

    SKC vs BGS

Just saying that the top 5 would probably be a bit different, would agree with Newman, Cachia and Kennedy, but McDermott and Purcell dont have a big as impact as the first three mentioned. They are very good players but not top 5 when it comes down to it. Andrews is definitely in there...

    SKC vs BGS

Interesting to see what you think...McDermott and Purcell are very good payers but not in the top 5. Andrews, Chivers or McCarthy would be ahead of those two. Just wondering, have you seen St.Kevins play this year? Some of the information you have given is a bit far off...

    St Kevins the new Hailbury?

St.Kevins have three scholarships in their side this year. The Year 12 level for St.Kevins has always been fairly strong with three of them playing firsts in year 10 with NONE of them being on a scholarship. There is one Year 11 on a scholarship this year, and two in year 10. Cachia...

    biggest jump in aps

cachia did not beat Purcell in high jump, Purcell has won U15 and U16 highjump for the APS the past two year. Cachia runs the 4x400 and the 800. Good try though Murph.
