Re: OFFICIAL: Thomson becomes a tiger Now we can trade Tuck, hopefully for a second round pick.

The Official 2008 Fixture Thread - Please contribute!

How hard is it to put 4 games on both weekends of the split round??? Friday night, Saturday, Saturday night, Sunday. It really isn't difficult you morons!!! Good to see once again that any thought of using last year's ladder position as a guide for the next year's fixture has been completely...

    Cousins Yes or No

why do so many people think the Richmond culture is so good and needs to be protected from big, bad Ben. It may be absolutely scheissenhausen, we just don't know. If the current culture brings the sort of results we're having at the moment, maybe it needs a shake-up. I say get him on board...

    Cousins Will Nominate

in fact putting *** makes it look worse than it actually is. Have a think about it schnapperheads!

    Cousins Will Nominate

*** isn't a bad word. I've read a lot worse in here. How about the 'bread basket' you soft duds???

    Cousins Will Nominate

I'd take him in a heartbeat, someone decent to hit the big Cho on the *** repeatedly!

McMahon to Tigers for pick 18

the dogs should be all over him, 5 year deal!!

McMahon to Tigers for pick 18

we already have our full quota of skinny outside midfielders, so why pick up 2 more???
  10. B

McMahon to Tigers for pick 18

if travis Johnstone is worth pick 14, McMahon isn't worth a pick in the top 70. This is a disgustingly bad trade. Wallace must have a short memory bringing in all these light body midfielders. Get some KPP in you moron.

    Official AFL TRADEWEEK Thread

why do 'in principle' deals still take 2 days to actually complete? Callan and Hudson were done deal yesterday and still haven't gone through today. What gives??

Free agency will destroy delicate AFL trade system

What Judd has done in shopping around for a club is just about free agency anyway.

    PieLebo's top 50 POTENTIAL stars

I saw him plenty, he was in my Supercoach team, I just think there has been way too much talk about him being the future of the club considering his modest output so far.

    PieLebo's top 50 POTENTIAL stars

Paddy Ryder has shown very little up till now for mine and if he's left to learn from Fletcher, he'll continue to under-perform. Although this makes sense, Fletcher is massively over-rated by sections of the football community (namely Healy and Sheehan), so it would follow that his successor...

Judd to the Pies / Didak and Fraser to Tigers

say it ain't so, we don't need a semi-ruck come centre-half-nothing and all Didak brings to the table is the occasional assy goal, no consistency, although he did have some big games this year. I would never stop barracking for the Tiges, but gee this would make it tough for me and add to the...

What's Stopping Other Clubs Trying To Trade With The Eagles??

I hope Nth, Hawthorn and Richmond, as well as Essendon and Melbourne all put decent trades on the table for West Coast to have a think about. Good on Judd for naming his preferred clubs, but this doesn't mean he can't go anywhere else does it? Also all I've been hearing about Judd shopping...

If you're talking unaccountable, you're forgetting Dustin Fletcher.....

    Knights to coach Essendon

Gee I had to laugh when Sports Tonight called him 'the former Richmond hard man'. If by 'hard' they meant he'd start pissing blood from the head if you gave him a nasty stare, then yes he was hard.

SA vs VIC or Port vs Geelong

I Hate Geelong, Always Have, Always Will. Hope Their Smugness Gets Smacked Out Of Them. I'm Looking At You Scarlett, Johnson, Kelly, Mooney Go Port!!!!!

Lock It In - Preferred Side Melbourne

You've proved my point, most of the backline you've named are rubbish, half of the forwards don't play in the forward line
  21. B

Lock It In - Preferred Side Melbourne

In 2 years you won't have a backline or a forward line, we at least we'll have some sort of backline coming together. Why can't people see the crap that sits in their own team?
  22. B

Lock It In - Preferred Side Melbourne

From one of Judd's best mates, as much as I can't understand it, Judd's preferred team will be named as Melbourne. Maybe he's looking for an ultra low profile, poor facilities, probably the worst list of the bottom 4 teams going forward (besides Essendon), etc, etc.
  23. B

Judd will be at Collingwood (and captain of Collingwood)

The only thing going against Carlton is the fact Judd doesn't like playing at the Telstra Dome.
  24. B

Judd will be at Collingwood (and captain of Collingwood)

No offense to Pie fans, you have a terrific team, but the only blokes that other teams would want from you for their first pick are (and should be) untouchable - Cloke, Thomas and Pendlebury. I can't see how you can wrangle the Judd deal. Lot of water to go under the bridge though.....

    L.Franklin or T. Cloke

As an impartial observer for this topic, I actually think Cloke had a better year than Franklin and should've been in the top 40 All Aust. But, on exposed form and upside, you'd have to go with Franklin.

    Collingwood and the hate factor

I don't buy into the historical hating Collingwood thing, we've had a relatively good time against them (as good as we have against any team). I hate the teams who have inflicted more damage on the Tiges during my time as a football watcher, Essendon and Nth Melbourne. So much pain.......

    Richie Vandenberg and Respect.

you could spend weeks running through the Richmond list and it's deficiencies, I know that as much as anyone
  29. B

    Richie Vandenberg and Respect.

I've said it elsewhere, but ordinary players don't suddenly become good just because they've retired. All we can comment on is on field, we don't see behind the scenes. The fact is the bloke barely got on the park and when he did, he was in the worst couple on the ground for his team.
